old threads

What happened to all the old threads from the T2 forum? specifically the vast majority of stuff from 2001 to 2002?

Is it all hiding in here?

http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/enterpassword.asp?forumid=31

so nobody knows? secrets?

Nah they are all still in the active Tribes 2 forum:

http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/forumdisplay.asp?forumid=4

It's just after page 6 they disappear into the ether to us mear mortals!

They are recoverable to site devs, just not to the general site community.

The link you posted leads to an some other Tribes 2 forum, not sure what it is about but it is a closed forum now.

I know the link goes to one of the old t2 forums. There were at least 2 (obviously) over the history of the game. What i'd like, ideally, is for someone to go into the DB, and just "update tblThreads set forumid = 4 where forumid = 31", for all the forumid's that were ever T2 forums. that'd make all the old threads viewable like the threads that are actually in forumid 4.

Basically, every good, long, crazy thread in T2 is inaccessable to the plebs. the longest old thread anyone can still get at is this one:

http://teamwarfare.com/forums/showthread.asp?forumid=4&threadid=21994

and it's pretty lame. there's some gold in the TWL DB. why not let it free!

how about this one too?

I'll even right the SQL for you.

update threads set forum_id = 4 where forum_id = 31 or forum_id = 53
