LT pickup night

I've been playing more and more recently and I think there is a decently skilled playerbase large enough for some fun lt pus. I've also noticed some regulars from the olden days still playing occasionally. 4v4s or 5v5s. I have nothing to offer as far as hosting so I'm not sure if anyone is willing to help out with that.

Really just trying to get a feel for interest here because I know some of the best times I had in this game was lt. Nothing was quite as intense.

Cool thanks. Yea we just need more people to post they're interested and maybe we can then decide on what night.

Any chances of it being during the day? Im on central time, we usually have 5 =ARC= players playing during the day, I'll check out how the nights go

Hey Guys, I think I'm going to add another Server To Tribes V - I'll set it up as =ARC= LT pickup nights , We seem to be having allot of good pings with our Chicago Server, what do you guys think of that as the location? Thanks KK

Pickups are a step in the right direction. Maybe if enough interest is shown, we can try that competition thing again.

Right now we only have 10 people (im including deathmonk) who appear to be interested. Now I'm not convinced that's enough to warrant a new server just yet, but if you still want to it's your call. Hopefully we can scrounge up 15-20 that are interested so that we may actually have 10 people show up to a night.

I suppose I could shake the rust off and ravage some of you guys for old times sake.

To increase server performance;

Login as Admin, and paste this into console:

admin set IpDrv.TcpNetDriver NetServerMaxTickRate 60

admin set Engine.GameEngine EnableCheatProtection False

Mutators required:
tvbp_b6
Antics
Nonreg fix


I strongly recommend not putting the logo up on the server. It's one more thing to download, and becomes a problem for demo playback.

Id play if it were friday,sat, sun or monday night. I work 2 jobs and the others nights are unlikely for myself. P.s. Only give admin to trustworthy players such as ced, deathmonk, or severin.

Of course. I used to do all the server setting up back in the....2006-2008 era.

TeamSpeak 2 is in no way compatible with TeamSpeak 3.

=ARC= Teamspeak Server is running TS Client 2.0.32.60
Keep in mind TeamSpeak 3 has been completely re-written in C++, introduces new features, and the protocol itself has been completely re-engineered. Therefore, you cannot connect to a TeamSpeak 3 server using a TeamSpeak 2 client, nor can you connect to a TeamSpeak 2 server using a TeamSpeak 3 client.

I was hoping for a little more interest but eh I think we can make do and attract more should these turn out successful. Why don't we try for Saturday or Sunday night. 9 or 10 est? We can try for this weekend but I wouldn't expect much given the notice.
