Legions is now open beta

and available to all.

Too bad it sucks.

I just got done playing it for the first time. It's definetly not tribes, but it aint bad! It's hard to get use to using your spacebar as a jetpack and i wish there where invo stations/armor types. It's definetly alot better when you have people playing CTF rather than just running around dueling, as goes for any tribes'esque game though...

The only major change is the down jetting. Everything else falls into place with some new keybindings.

Legions is ok for just a fun game but not something I'll ever want to get serious about.

Skiing and shit is fine when you get used to it but this is more like an open alpha than an open beta. Few months down the road when the game has some more features we'll talk

For everyone trying the game once and writing it off as incomplete / not ready for beta, I encourage you to check back in every few weeks because each build the game improves (most of the time).

i realize it was stupid my apologies.

are some of you excited you got into the "ground floor" of a tribes like game? will blitz become the slut of legions? does he dream about this? i bet he does. are they wet n creamy dreams? more than likely. am i lonzo?....does prio have mad skills?

no game is ever going to be tribes unless its T1 with better graphics or T2 and that's a stretch to some of you. get over it. this is what we've got. as a community we are so picky. we want a new tribes game but we won't accept any honest effort towards one. play legions and stop expecting T1. It's not. I think expectations is what's ruining that game for all of you. just have fun with it. and what company wants to make the exact same game all the time? besides namco. really.
