Closed beta will be starting within a week and a half max.

open beta will be starting a month after that i would assume.

release is set for 2 months after the closed beta starts.

any word on how good of a comp one needs to play it effectively?

i dont remember them exactly, but they made me laugh they were so low. They were lower than t:vs reqs, so if you could run t:v, you should have no problem

I hope it doesn't tank like T:V did

looks pretty good but im not a big fan of the player models. good thing that is not very important to me.. hope its balanced though.

at the risk of sounding like a typical whiney tribes player i DID notice a couple things that bothered me though:

first off, im not a big fan of perma-iffs but i can get over it.

second, and more importantly, i THINK there was a point where the screen said maximum velocity or something like that ( IDK the video qaulity was a bit crappy). Now, i REALLY hope this doesnt happen as freedom of movement is the #1 factor that attracts me to tribes. anyway, im sure i could deal with it albeit grudgingly.
