Every now and then, I'll try and log on to a server, and it will say curroupt file. But if I just restart T:V it doesn't reappear. Anyone eles have this happen to them?

yes.

ive had 5150 and heaven's servers tell me i have a corrupt version or something and i need to reinstall.

its just an occasional thing. i dont have a clue what could cause it.
It might be a bad cache file

Go to your C:/Program Files/Tribes Vengeance/Program/Cache....deleta all the files except for the .ini file. That's what fixes mine if we r talkin about the same thing.
Now that I think of it, it does usaly say something about Cache. But if I just restart T:V, it goes away, same server, same place.

I believe this is caused by custom scripts/huds. Customized or not, the only way around it, as far as I know, is to restart (which you seem to have already figured out )

I run stock TV and I got this last night (for the first time) so it's not custom HUDs doing it. I restarted TV to "clear" it.
T:V does not clean up custom scripts between maps, it is a bug that should be fixed in the patch. If you run any custom scripts or join a server that has custom scripts this may happen to you. Simply restarting T:V will resolve the issue.

I noticed when ever a went into a certain heavily moded out server, and than left that server and tried to go into a different non-moded server it said that. and i had to restart T:V

This happens to me after playing a custom map. As usual, restart tribes fixes it.
