Not as a main game imo. The player base is shrinking and the community tends to play the game more on the boards than on the servers.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good game for what it was written to be. It's just not as capturing as T1/T2 were. Most find it hard to play for hour son in like we all used to in previous titles.

Logged on at midnight (CST) tonight to find a whopping 98 players online.

If your a Tribes puritist or looking for a game with the depth of previous releases, it's probably going to disappoint you. I would suggest playing the beta first and seeing how you like the wep & physics first.

test beta first, good idea. retail has some decent community maps out, so make sure to populate MoFo's Casa for pubbing (surefire good rotation, and usually either myself or wolverine is on to admin it so if a crappy map comes up it can be changed)
