Leaving JK2 1v1 ladders

I just quit the ladders out of hate for the new patch......i was one of the most feared duelers because i knew alot about the game and i used to teach others alot about dueling in JK2...i actually ran classes. And since the new patch there have been much needed changes but there are alot of changes which are going to make the game terrible. Soon you will learn these totally cheap tactics and you will probably never loose a match.

I was a Light side jedi.....every1 was complaining about how the dark side is soo powerfull / cheap......well i showed alot of people how to beat them, so in the end it was about even....THE PATCH SCREWED THAT ALL UP. Now n00bz can win against the dark more easily then before....whats the fun it that ?!?!?...taking your skills to new levels to beat harder people is what makes games last longer.

The NF battles are now a 'THROW WAR'.....i can win with out swinging my weapon.....Raven should put a bar in that degenerates when you throw your saber in a NF battle so after about 3 throws, you cant throw anymore, at all

This game when played at that high level is going to be only played on cheap tactics because you cant take your game to new levels because it's been n00bified.. gg dev team

Raven has said that they will be fixing backstab in the next patch. Hope they fix guns too...

You see Zeph, backstab's not hte problem, If they 'fix' that the game will just be as bad. They need to change things back (not all,but most) to 1.02.

saber thrown in nf match dont have his place

yes, it doens't have it's place there. The SofD nf server does not have throw on. I don't know why TWL has that on the 1v1 nf ladders. NF is NF...throw uses Force. just doesn't make sense.

Umm, I was on an SofD nf duel server last night that had saber throw on. I found out when my dueling partner kindly tossed his at me. You might want to check that.

?? really? I'll have to ask Dregz about that..ti was on at first(4-5 days ago) but then I asked to have it off..and it was off...he must have put ti back on

Whenever I host a nf sabers game, throw is not enabled. At all. I didn't tweak anything around, that's just the way it was. For some reason on a different server (only played one 1) had throw on, but that's the only time I ever saw it with nf.

You make some good points but frankly you can still take your skill to a new "level". I see the newbs running around backwards and try that cheap shit on me, and I out "smart" them by not letting them hit me with it. Amazing! It's not an insta death super uber nuke thingy. It can be dodged. You just got to be, you know aware of it and such.
Ah whatever, at least im still enjoying the game.
