you saberists are fucking pathetic. i would atleast respect you for playing nf sabers but playing ff just so you can heal yourself constantly with force drain is a laugh and a half. you actually swung your saber like maybe one or two times.

i played 1v1 nf sabers back in 1.02 and knew guys that you wouldn't even be able to fucking touch if you fought them today. you guys are newbies even with your own weapon haha.

yea sd is pretty annoying, but not everyone plays like them, they have this idea called NF STYLE which they drain the second some one hurts them and run around swinging red waiting for a lucky hit and they say they do this because no ffer knows how to nf? yes the logic is very high with them

Yes that demo is bad example of ff/so.
Its unfortunate no matter how good you are, people force you to play like that, especially on ladder matches. When you play a person who cant combo, you cant saber because doing so just opens you up (or combo them because it depletes force for damage they will drain right back the second they take 1hp of damage.)

You should watch some demos of our clan playing each other, none of that noob run/drain/camp behind rocks shit.

Most of the ff/so players outside of our clan are pretty weak offensively so they make up for it with constant draining, rolling around like a dog and zapping w/ lightning or basically doing nothing and just hiding behind rocks/boxes waiting for a chance to get in a grip.

The sad part is that noob shit is effective so to beat it you pretty much have to do it yourself.

I guess it's the same as when you guys 1v1 a guy using that rocket bug thing.

You may not have to use it yourself to win, but you do have to readjust your style for the faggotry factor of the way the guy is playing.

Like I said iron you are forced to play like that.

I got sick of having to have to put up with that from 99% of the people who duel anymore so I pretty much quit and stick to teamffa/ctf now.

When I took #1 from CB it took over an hour just to hit 10 kills because of the way he plays.

In that time I figure I could have played at least 3 full games of CTF so why bother with chasing some guy around for an hour, it's just not worth it.

Back in the day it was because you had some damn good players and no matter how much draining went on the pace stayed fast as hell, but now it's just boring.

Not to name names but when I see a guy zap a dude with lightning once when the match starts and run away to hide and then he says "Ok I win" because he's just going to hide until the time runs out... it's just sad.

We know how to saber quite well when we need to.
I only had 3-4 gk kills in this 2v2 and swift gets almost all of his kills from sabers in matches.

I've never chastised people for what they do, my problem is with people who complain about scripts yet use them and play it off like they don't.

Take [SD]Fallen. He kicks off 1/4 cracks in the floor, yet refuses (until today, he actually admitted it) to admit he used a script but he goes off on people every time he gets owned and accuses people of scripting.

I really could give two shits if he scripts every move, but I get sick if listening to his constant bitching and moaning that everyone is a "noob scripter" yet the fag does it so fucking blatantly.

And pyro I never once mentioned your name. Actually being the only one who will admit to using them I have more respect for you than a few others who play it off even though they have admitted it to me before.

its probably cause you play too seriously/gay in pubs, in a duel where people are waiting to play you guys swing or whatever, if u get hit u drain and the drain goes on till both players get 100hp and then you do it agian, get hit, drain, or go behind a box and grip. no need for all that in pubs people are waiting for their turn.

b the scripts mean nothing, and like I said having the balls to admit he uses them makes pyro a hell of a lot cooler than 99% of the other ff/so players around who do it but lie about it.

What bothered you more, losing to fots and their energize script or losing to a clan using a team energize script who kicked/banned/insulted you for 4 months for of all things, scripting?

I'll be honest, I don't respect the way some of SD plays (I'm talking about their play style, not them as people) because it seems to be done out of desperation.

If a person steps up, puts me on my ass and finishes me I respect that.
But having to chase a guy rolling around like a dog zapping me from 200 yards away or playing the "drain every 1.3 seconds and flail around and hope for a lucky swing" game is just plain boring.

I don't run from people until they start the drain, I won't drain a person unless they start and even if I do zap them I don't spend 1/2 the match doing it.

I don't have to do that to beat people and I look at relying on that type of play to be just a desperate attempt to compensate for a lack of offensive/defensive game.

When you look at all these scores from recent 2v2 matches the fact that my own (not team) score is usually almost as high if not higher than the entire other teams combined, its not hard for me to see a connection between the other teams low score and the way the play 1v1.

the problem is that raven doesn't care to make this game balanced at a pro level. they put all these different force powers into it simply because it's star wars but refuse to make them require any kind of real skill to use.

the stupidest fucking part is that they feel in order to make a lot of money they need to cater ONLY to the newbies who want a simple easy game. this is totally false considering q3 is balanced at a pro level (everything in the game takes lots of skill to do effectively) and 100x more people play it, thus id racking in 100x the profit raven made off of jk2 (gg).

it's not like q3 doesn't have it's share of newbies either, they just play on their own servers while the competitive players play on theirs enjoying the challenging well balanced environment. honestly, it's not like all the newbies will drop jk2 if it were actually made correctly. what other game offeres them lightsabers with q3 graphics? just like the newbies in q3 who will never get enough of blasting the shit out of each other in ffa's.
