well at least we're not going to war (not yet anyways maybe after feb 4th we will tho...). i think the funniest moment was when he was talking about the hydrogen powered cars and he paused expecting people to clap but no one did. they hung bush out to dry.

Why were people watching that when just a few miles away the Blues were playing the Caps? The Blues came back from a 3-1 deficit in the second period too!

Well most hockey teams are better than mine, though the Lightning are having a somewhat decent year finally. Might even make the playoffs, though I'm unsure as they've suffered through such lows over the years that I don't really keep up with them.

Don't the caps usually suck though? And penguins are tough with Super Mario.

Caps had only lost two games out of their last 20.
The lightning have turned their team around compared to the last few years and are doing fantastic. Super Mario is amazing, but him and Kovalev can't carry the Penguins plus he's not playing in the all-star game, because of that Al Maccinis will win the MVP award this year :>

yup, they're .500 tough.

-Too old to be drafted as well, plus I'm in college so I have an out! Although if we were in dire need of men to stand up, I'd do it if called upon. My father fought in Vietnam and my grandfather in WWII so I think I'd owe it to them to do so.

I'm sure ADD would make you exempt. I don't think they'd want a guy in the infantry that couldn't keep his attention on the enemy. Seeing as most draftees become "grunts", you'd probably be ok.

i dont think there would be a draft, and warfare is much different now than like ww2 or vietnam

there wont be an immediate draft, i dont think anyone is expecting iraq to be much of a fight and unless they seriously surprised us there wont be one
