Just because something is available to everyone to use doesn't make it right. Does that make Aim-Bots okay because they're available to download for anyone who wants them?
Basicly "Scripts" covers alot of things.. from simple recording scrips to performing actions for you. Personally I don't use scripts that use actions for me because then I'm relying on a script to do something that *I* should be able to do myself. That's why I don't use Auto-Missile or Auto-Flare in Tribes 2. Something like a weapon switcher that allows you to fire a shot from 2 differant weapons faster than normal isn't right IMHO, but if it happens at the same speed a person could do manually, I don't see the harm really.
Basically, ceartain scripts are bad, but some just usefull utility scripts. I had heard of a script that turns on absorb the moment pull/push, or any other kinda force is used on you. I don't know if it truly exists or was just dreamed up by some poor player that couldn't stop a Light Side player, but if it existed, that would be the kind of script we'd want to stop.
All in all, I can't think of any scripts (that I know of) that are bad in JK2. Even the YawSpeed script for BackStabs was more annoying than a problem. Like T2 this could just be a dynamic rule that evolves as more and more information is knowna bout just WHAT JK2 scripts can do.
Guess that's it.
