Servers w/ DT

So uh.. how about the admins of servers with DT "enabled" actually turn it on? kthx

I left P9 Public on for two days. No one played on it. Soon as I took it off people started playing it again. I think until it becomes mandatory by TWL it just is not gonna happen.

Thanx for the input.

I doubt they didn't play on it because it was activated.. there are a lot of us that would rather play on a server like that.

whatever i cheat at flag capping and I am holding out as long as possible!!!

People are just too lazy to download and use it. Then when they have skins that conflict they don't know what to do and go back to without it.

PJ Super Stats is one script that causes it to lock up.

rlh, you said p9 pubh as it installed? I figured as much, considering I have 50 more ping on it than usuall. I used to get 70-90 on the server list for ping, ever since DT was installed on it, it is 115-135. sigh

The higher ping on all Branzone servers (there are 3 in Ren) is due to Branzone having to switch bandwidth providers. This happened on Friday afternoon, all of Branzone was down until late Saturday. My ping use to be 50'ish but is now 100+. Once the new provider gets their peers setup to the major backbones (which should be within a few days) we may actually see better ping than before. So DT has not increased the ping as far as I can tell, what you have seen this weekend has nothing to do with DT. If it was like that before this weekend then I have no explanation for it. I would turn DT back on and leave it, if people would play on it. But it just seems that since it is not mandated by TWL at this time, very few people are willing to install it.

Ok, so it is a branzone problem then?

P9 I have always liked. Very little if any admin abuse and what might have been abuse never happened to me. I say put it on and those of us who have DT will play there. Eventually the rest will follow along. No wonder there were only 12 servers this weekend.

DT isnt the answer it is too complicated.

As a team leader I have to go thru hoops just to get a new recruit on TWL, register for our forums, on ICQ and on Teamspeak now we have to get them to use DT and it will, in most cases, cause T2 not to work.

Cheaters suck. I can tell too. Especially happy mod and interpolation. Whatever, I love playing in a pub and the other team is using lotsocheats and I still beat them.

I wish we could uses something else.

If we start posting the names of the scripts and skins we find cause lockups it should be easy.

I would rather the headache than have to deal with cheaters and not be sure of having a level playing field. It is bad enough that people dont care a damn about even teams or fair play as it is.

I will agree, I am looking at getting it installed on the Graveyard asap. Still having a few probs with the Provider tho.

I would love to see a thread that would be dedicated to identifying Skins and scripts that cause problem getting DT up and running.

^ Kodiak One major problem I see in the forums though, They get so damn cluttered up with useless posts, and off topic stuff, they soon become useless you have to wade through pages of BS just to get any usefull info.

Delete off topic and irrelevent posts, so we can get DT up and running ASAP

This thread was just asking a question of admins. I didn't intend this to go as far as "OMG DT CAUSES LAG, FPS DROPS AND MY COMPUTER GREW LEGS AND SWAM TO FRANCE" (and it doesn't do any other than the legs part)
