All this complaining...

I never really realized how much whining and crying went on in Ren until I played today for the first time in about a month. Oh no a v-padder, oh no an o-detter, oh no a cloaker, oh no a vulcan up my ass..

Shut the hell up and enjoy the mod. This used to be a LOT of fun but now everyone thinks they're the greatest player ever and that when someone kills them they need to redeem themselves by bitching about how it was done. Face the fact that you got beaten, respawn, and deal with it. It's the point of the damn game!

"It's not the point of the game to detpack a group of borgs on their way out of their own base, blah blah blah." STFU, yes it is! So what if I was on my way to clear the flag with a detpack and I saw three borgs on their way to rape my base and decided to stop them? I can't defend my base on that side of the map? Bull..

"Get out of that vehicle and fight me head on like a man." You're playing a damn computer game and talking about fighting like a man? Um, no.

Learn how to counter these things. Put up sensors to show cloakers. Space out your laser turrets in unpredictable places to stop detters before they reach your base. Shockwave away from the vehicle or just plain vulcan it instead of trying to lock on with missles. Use spy armor and your command circuit to find camped snipers. Run towards and incoming detpacker so their det goes past you or just get ready for the respawn.

Spend some time playing the mod instead of bitching about other players killing you and perhaps you'll have the time to figure out how to avoid those kinds of deaths from happening again.

Yeah, I was under a smurf acct. Played borg for 2 maps straight, 3rd map loads I go to O DET Danny in the face and I get booted. Apparently once is excessive.

The only good part about the thread is the amount of chicks on top of each other in that sig...

and the admin even threatend to kick me for vpaddin

I don't think I'm the greatest player, I know it.

I know I have argued about most of these issues. The more I have played in Matches the more useless these arguements seem. More and more I am learning and finding that some of you who think it is just right are about 95% correct in this. Mild Tweaks that are more background is what I would like.
The one thing I have argued and will continue to point out is this.
PUBs will never have teamwork, they will never be able to be coded to have teamwork and why even try. I will jump on the bandwagon that says STFU and play. Get on a team and play in a match. You cannot change the PUB play you can only try to constrain the more excessive elements.

Most of you complaining that are in Clans try this one.

Which is why on the AFO server anything goes. All that is asked is you don't teamkill/basekill intentionally.

...and the vpad bandwagon only grows larger with the admins support. I'll bet that in a few months using a targeting laser on a vpad will get you kicked.

It used to be "excessive O detting" that got you kicked. Now it's simply O detting period that will get you kicked. Pretty soon, using a det pack anywhere will be grounds for kicking.

I get very annoyed with vpad sniping but I just use spy or alien to hunt them down. The only thing I really like to see enforced is for intentional TKs without purpose.

I think the bitching and whining is a stage. I know I went through it with vpad sniping and o turreting. Sometimes you jus gotta say who gives a fuck and play. They paid their share for the game they can do what they want.

I vpadded on grifter's server, but just 1 guy cause he kept complaining. Martian19[STD]...fucking whiner.

i do that with dets all the time. you complain and whine that i keep detting you, i waypoint you, then i hunt you down. sometimes it will make borgs do something else, like start sniping me, which actually is more fun, lol.
