Are your pings consistently higher with every server? What connection to the internet do you have? What ISP? Ping some various webservers yourself to test your own connection. Open up a command prompt and type "ping ww_w.cnn.com" (without the underscore after ww)
Try that with various other sites. Find some computers that are based in local areas near you, ping them. Find others that are farther and ping them as well. Do some testing to narrow down where your problem may lie. Who knows maybe your ISP shut down a few routers or maybe a router, repeater or hub went out or was removed inbetween you and a particular tribes2 server. There could be a lot of reasons why your ping is higher than before. Is it a specific server that you ping high? Or just one?

Could be spyware

Syn i have same prob. I called my net provider(dsl connection) they said my line was giving out same amount as it used to. but now ping is in that same range (180-240) on all servers...except recon, its about 160-200 but ive always pingedb etter on those.
Check to make sure one of your neighbors isn't dloading mad porn or otherwise eating up all of your bandwidth...there was a guy in LoH that had that problem.

Maybe call your Cable/DSL provider and ask them wtf is up...possibly request a new modem or something, maybe yours is old.

Run ad-aware or another device like that...maybe your bro. got mad porn on your comp. and now it's fucking you over.
1) remove penis from NIC
2) quit W.

ROFL.

Yea, right."Excuse me, are you downloading large quantities of midget sex?"
FIRST and foremost do a trace route, from a command prompt type TRACERT http://WWW.MICROSOFT.COM (or whatever major site u want), and watch where your highest ping starts, if it in the beginning the most likely its your system, if its farther down the list then most likely your isp or backbone is having probs and contact your isp to fix.
I get like 60 at the beginning, so it's my fault right? Or maybe it could be modem/network card?
Ok , I'm Connected With Bell Sympatico High Speed (DSL) And , i used to Ping nice on all the Servers, and now i simply Ping Like shit ... almost 3/4 of my HD is used, maybe could that be the problem or is in comp/isp related ... ??
did you do a tracert yet? where does your ping start to go up? if your on cable/dsl then your first few hops should be under 50ms, if its over 50 then start thinking about uninstalling any applications you dont need that are running, primamrily things that are network intensive (i.e. I.M., Speed boosters, net monitors) also check your task manager for any unknow programs, maybe run good virus checkers, trojan checkers, spyware removers.
