Seems the teams that do well on the ladder are the ones that also lose well. Losing is part of this game. P9,HK,3G,DC,B all have lost and stay together. If you have expectations to come in and not get beat, you are strongly mistaken. All the teams who keep breakin up, seem to do so after 1 or 2 loss's. You have to think long term and understand that winning AND losing are part of the ladder.
If you are starting a clan up expect to lose. My team has lost and we are stronger because of that. We have great competition on this ladder, but teams need to realize that getting to the top is not easy.
Snake, i'm with you bro. When we were Venm, we lost like 8-10 in a row. When i started twl in Venm, I didn't know anything about strats at all. I was a mad HD. Was only heavy D Period. Talk about getting owned and playing in spawn. We only had one HO at the time too. Our clan started around February of 2002 i think it was. Of our original Venm guys that were around early on, here are the ones that have stuck around:
CPL
Nycto
Gorn
Ricks
BigGuns
KillerP
Profhet
Bulldog
Ganon
We have lost only a few guys like AADIC. Just using him as a scapegoat. He instantly hopped to -B-, a way higher up clan at the time. We had a small shake up when our founder had problems with his business and left. The above guys regrouped, stuck together. Added strategic players one by one. There is one policy for our clan. All for one and one for all. No ego's period. They are squashed and handled. Individual ego's just rip a clan to shreds.
As far as win's/losses. We have taken our share of losses. Learned from them, observed what the other team did well, learned, adjusted and had fun. Winning has always been fun, but that's not the glue that hold's our clan together. It's pride. Not individual pride, it's clan pride. We are proud of how we as a clan perform and conduct ourselves. We aren't perfect by any means, but we work hard at it.
Gotta get some sleep.
