What the admins did here was recognize the value of both PC and CE. Teams have the option of using either based on posted agreement in match comms. If by chance teams can not reach an agreement by match date then PC is to be used.
Why did we pick PC as default? Admins recognize the sheer numbers of PC over CE in the community. They also realize that a good way of maintaining this community is by catering to the status quo. There are teams who love CE still. You can still ask for it to be played.
Power Ladder!
This gives the power to the teams essentially. You pick the maps. You pick the game type. You decide if you want to do multiple types per map. You pick the number of players. You pick PC or CE. You decide on vehicles. You decide on weapons. You decline a challenge if settings can't be agreed on. You don't move up rungs for a single win. You earn points based on the matches you play. You can play as many as you wish in a single night or week.
Admin involvement in the power ladders is mainly on a dispute basis. You will need to submit screen shots or logs to admins and they check the agreement in match comms to see what doesn't match. usual match conduct issues and such still apply.
In short I believe the admins here did an excellent job to take the initiative to keep things going here. Now it's up to the community to respond!
