Mr. Admins, help plz...

The rules say:

Invalid Server

Disputes would be filed under this category for server requirements or setting problems.
Teams cannot file disputes under this category after the match has ended. By playing the match teams agree to any server inconsistencies versus the posted rules.

and also say...

It is extremely important that all teams comply with these new regulations effective immediately. Teams that have not updated their server by now, will be given a forfeit loss with any disputes for having an invalid server.

So...if we start a match on a server with, for example, CAL CVARS, and agree to play there with this cvars, what happens if we dispute the match in the end, after agreed to play?

tnks
I assume, since both parties agreed to play on there, nothing will happen.

Teams failing to run the official TeamWarfare PB Scripts

If a team providing the match server fails to configure the server according to the TWL rules and fails to run the mandatory TWL Punkbuster CVAR scripts it is subject of an automatic forfeit of the match and a team warning / penalty.

The other team must inform the opponent if they see that there are no TWL CVAR checks running and/or the server is not streaming and tell the opponent to fix the situation. If the team who's providing the server does not comply to the requests of the other team, team requesting the fix must state ingame before the first live round begins that they are disputing the match for "Invalid Server" and then leave the server.

Match Disputes regarding this issue after the match has been played or the first live round had begun are thrown out and the end score is valid. But the team who failed to run the checks will be issued a either a warning or a penalty.

1st Offense: A team warning via email

2nd Offense: 20% drop of ladder ranking

3rd Offense: Team removal from Ladder
Thanks for the help.

Yes if server in a twl match is set up incorrectly I have been told bt a twl admin to leave the game untill its set up right. we did this and twl admin gave the game to the other team. What do you think of that what are the rules when it comes to servers not set yp correctly and you have 2 matches in the same night so 1 match basically runs into another

The first set up round is to begin no later than 10 minutes after the arranged time. You cannot leave the server before this. If you disagree with an admin, you are free to appeal the decision.

That is your fault, not ours - if you have two matches scheduled within the same night, it is your responsibility to have enough players available for both.

Im just replying to your thread, the game we played switched sides after 4 rounds not 6 as you have stated. IT was not set to TWL rules when the game was restarted it was still the same. So when you take into account the amount of time needed for them to sort thier server out,we started on the wrong side for a start the round times were wrong it was pathetic and we have been penalised for this. I would like to say thank you to TWL admin for thier decisions. Rules depend on what clan is playing at the time

The rules state that you must check that the server is set up correctly and you play anyway, you wave your right to dispute. This is because many teams play the match, lose and dispute on a technicality.

If you are unable to check the server settings before you play, that again is not our fault.

If you have a complaint, do not drop snide comments on the forums in an attempt to be witty - take them through the proper channels.

Im sorry if you think im being snide but I promise you im not, all you admins put a lot of time and effort into TWL.
We appreciate this, I was only asking a question. When a game starts and on the fourth round its set up wrong and four rounds have been played you lose the right to make a complaint
All leagues should cooperate with eachother and make one cvar so we don't need to switch cvars 5times in a week.

That has been tried in other games (COD4 and CSS being the main ones) and, sadly, didn't work out. Leagues have different rules and whatnot and people started to get annoyed and change the cvars.

But we are not 'other games' and we have a much smaller community so we should give it a try imho.
Only problem I can see is for example TWL working together with AON while CAL works together with ACI. Though this is a problem which can be tide over.
