Stupid Question?

first off... excuse my spelling... lol

Secondly, I will further my embarrassment by asking this... how does a team get into the AA-NA Invite 4v4 2005 League or AA-NA Intermediate 4v4 2005 League.

I mean what is the requirements. What does a team have to do or not do. And when will the signups for them start again. And don't say after the playoffs are done... thats a given.
sign up for the open league to show intrest, and then if your history (in ladders and leagues) warrant it, you'll be invited to play in one of the higher leagues.

first. you need to participate in the open league. (4v4 or 6v6) you must to well in this league to move up to the intermediate league. you must also do well here (probably win it or be runner up) this will get you to the 4v4 invitational. But you need to be VERY good to play with those teams.

what they said.

MOST teams will start in the open and work thier way up to the inters. from there you will get invited by the invite teams that continue for the next season. as an example there are immediately 2 openings in the invites for the 6v6 provided that all the other teams continue. there was talk about going to 16 teams for the invites and i have not ruled that out, but it really depends on the number of signups for the 6v6.
give a lapdance to the admins. or sweet talk me and ill put in a good word.
thank you guys... we did play the 4v4 open this season but only joined late. We missed three matches so didnt qualify for the playoffs... mainly did it for experience.

However, we did go 4-1-1 and out of the last 4 matches ( 48 rounds ) we only lost 9 rounds... our win percentage was among the that of the top teams...

not sure if that shows enough to get us their but sure hope so. We have been on the ladders for over three years now and in the top 10 on most of them. 7 ladders as of right now. Hell, I am on the #1 spot on 1v1 objective.

Was a pleasure to be apart of the league this season and we had fun with it. Wish us luck and see you guys next season. Until then, see you on CAL...
honestly being #67 after almost 50 matches played on the 4v4 ladder won't look very good. To make one of the higher leagues you should really be in or near the top 25 after that many matches played.

The difference is you were playing the teams with the worst records in the league. You have to prove you can beat the top teams, not the bottom ones.

Pretty sure that your ladder records aren't that important unless you are just doing amazing. If you really want to be moved up, you need to excel in the Open League and make a deep run into the playoffs. Inters/Invites are full of VERY talented teams so if you can't finish high in Open, then you will definately have trouble against the best in the game.

Hey, it's the best aa player! Better than cool-guy!

aww, I'm just kidding.

Not sure if you know this or not, I'm not trying to be condescending, but very few (if any) of the top players play on that ladder.

I understand your want to climb the leagues but you might just have to wait one or two seasons. Trying to make your case of why your team should be in a higher league isn't a good idea imo. Just keep doing well and let your performance do the talking, and you will get moved up without having to ask. Good luck to you and your team.

Honestly this might sound bad but it's really not ment that way:

If you don't get invited for a higher league you probably don't want to be in that league, at least not at this time. There's quite some teams broken up cus of league pressure when they weren't performing as well as they maybe wanted to.

For the people saying the ladders matter: they do to the extend of your history in TWL and your history regarding sportsmanship.

I think having a record that shows you've played over 50 matches shows you are committed and won't suddenly break up mid-league (VERY important). Whether you're in the top 25 or top 10 is less important as long as you've proven yourself a team capable of handling the level in a higher league in the opens.

So long story short: keep training and getting more experience and enjoying the game, and you'll be placed in the best league for you, which will result in the most fun for yourself as well as your opponents.

Well as for our ladder records... we where in the top 10 on six ladders at one time but three losses dropped us back down and since then we just cant seem to get a chance to challange an availible team without being challanged ourselves... sucks.

As for not getting on this time around, I fully understand that. Most of the top teams in the league this year, we have played on ladders or scrims... and won. However, they just wouldn't give them to us during the league dispite my begging them... and I understand that. Just feel the need to vent a little is all.

we can wait and will. We mainly did this for the experience and prove to ourselves we can do it. So... next season, watch out, we are coming.
ladders do not have any play on league selection.

I PLAY THAT LADDER! BUT I CANT GET OFF IT :/

but as a side note.

most teams dont take ladders all to seriously. heck my team barely took the leagues seriously this year wtih the lack of high quality teams minus 1 or 2. (that we played + BMFB)

but scrims dont count either bro : / just keep working hard and preform well in the next league. HOPEFULLY ITS 4v4

Now thats funny... but hey, if it works I can get our girls to um.... never mind, they will kill me if I said that. lol.

But anyhow, thanks admin for clearing that up about the ladders. I was worried we would get hurt by there current status. Will our CAL results have any play in it also... ?
