Points

Can someone in a civil non flaming way tell me something about the points given in the league.

Wins: 3 points
Draw: 2 points
Loss: 1 point

Last year I remember thinking "Oh you get 1 point from loosing as visitor but 0 from being Home team, but that wasnt the case.

Okay maybe this is coming from watching too much football (Europe style) here in europe but looking at this - its almost as good to draw as to win. I mean if you draw you still have a good chance of catching up. Also loosing is not that bad either. Since its only 2 points.

Not that im saying europe points are better, but why not:

Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points

Play to win (not that people arent doing it, but perhaps people wont think. Pff its only 2 points.)

I think a big part of it is that giving a point for losing really discourages forfeits, because a forfeit practically eliminates you. Just think of it as 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw and -1 for a forfeit.
