*sigh* so my cousin comes down and brings me down a half=life platinum pack, and gives it to me. So i install and decided to give counter strike another try (I played it earlier but just got bored and sold the game to a buddy) so I've started playing it again, and I like it. Mebe I'm ust burnt out from tribes 2. Anyways whenever I connect to a server, running de_Inferno I get a crc that says that my copy of de_Inferno does not match the servers. Now I'm not sure how to solve the problem, all I can think of is rather then use the CS retail CD that comes with the platinum pack to just download cs instead. Now I tried downloading the retail map pack from counter strike.com to no avail.
So if anyone has any tips on what to try, I'd really aprreciate it.
As well does anyone know of a better server browser for half-life then the ingame one or gamespy (I hate gamespy, so many ad's and argh!)
