for the counter strike 5vs5 ladder I am really confused on how teamwarfare staff ranks all the team is it like best win to loss ratio or what

no its a ladder, your rank on the ladder is determined by wins or losses on the teams you challenged or by the teams that challenge you.

Think of each rung of a ladder as a team. You are on the ground, trying to get up on the roof.
Q: How are you going to get there?
