twl.cfg file

Hi, quacktastic<99vs1> here. Just wondering a few things about this cfg file. First off, i just copy the list of settings on the rule page in notepad and save it as a .cfg file right? Then, what folder should the twl.cfg file be uploaded to on our server so that we can run it from the game? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Almost positive all you do is drop it in your /cstrike dir and "admin_cfg twl.cfg"

or you can do it the easy way and use rcon

rcon exec twl.cfg

cybrex, your way showed as working, but the settings didn't change. tinker, said exec failed. does the file need to be on the server? or can it just be on my computer? please help if you can because we have a match tomorrow night.

To my knowledge you can just “copy and paste” the related text from the Team Warfare Counter Strike rules to the server config. file. But I’m asking around to find out if this is completely true. I’m sorry for my lack of knowledge in this section but I have not hosted a dedicated server for Counter Strike before. Once I confer my thoughts and or find out how to correctly construct the server config I well make a post about it, and upload a copy to Team Warfare’s download section.

um yes teh cfg HAS to be on the server, and if its a linux server its case sensitive.

k it's all fine and dandy for it to be on the server, plus we can put it there. the question that we have is what folder does it go in??

C: \Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike
