05' CTF All Star Roster

Admin please make this a sticky, but don't lock it because I'm going to be editing it constantly to add and change what captains submit here.

try not to post here if at all possible unless your a captain submitting names. If your team has a pilot invitation extended to one of your members, you have 2 additional slots to fill. If your pilot does not wish to play, then let me know so I can invite another in an appropriote time table.

The format for Captains: I'm inviting the top 4 current CTF teams head captains. They may delegate this role to a lower captain that (HAS LEADERSHIP AND STRAT EXPERIENCE) or forfeit the responsibility entirely and we'll appoint another captain.

Reminder: this appointment does not count as one of your commitments for the all star team. Captains will not spawn. They will play a command and control role only ghosting thier guys.

I won't be playing. I'll be hosting and it will require me to be doing alot of multitasking to make sure it runs smoothly.

If lost doesn't play anymore, then the invitation extends to you, since your definately the senior pilot on -=elite=-

Also, if TGB could, lets bftv this dealio.

Garrett, I sent the TUS roster to your yahoo e-mail. Did you get it?

Also, Ironman doesn't really play BF anymore, so another TUS can get the Captain deal or we can pass it on.

The thing that i miss is any TGBV/TGBF. Did u guys just forget about em' or u simply to scared to birng em along ;-)

correct, I'm not the highest ranking d12 captain, but I had operational control of it for the team, so this can be delegated to whomever does actually do the command and control of thier teams.

If you read my first post of the original thread, i addressed this. All teams on the ladder can and are invited to join, but the teams I listed are whom I knew would field teams. alot of teams on the ladder have like 4 people on thier team and don't play matches, they just sit there, so I did not tally up the entire ladder, because it would throw off the teams with those that don't actually play.

Any team captain from a team not mentioned needs to contact me and I will add them to a division and thier 3 players to the list.

Looks like hard work garrett. It's looking good. One question though, is this going to be like a 12v12? 15v15? Or what.

Good question. I'm anticipating 16 players per team, minus captains who won't be playing. that means, two rounds 8v8 to 10v10 possibilities if we have a little over flow. 16 players per side means two completly different sets of 8 players for the two different divisions for the two diffenent rounds. Everyone will play in one round, but unlikely to play two.

In addition, due to the overwhelming response, I'll be hosting a post-match ctf fiest if you will that resembles the old SCRIM Chan matches we use to play. This is come one come all. We will not have any excessive numbers of players on a server at a time. 10v10 is the most, and use many severs to accomdate all that want to play.

Would like to thank XS for donating one server and a teamspeak. Team [HOT] will be donating another, and I would appreciate any other donations of servers for the post-match SCRIM CHAN match.

format for this. Everyone will meet in one teamspeak, I'll divide teams up with x amount of pilots, one captain, and some tankers and infantry. Everyone will be moved into a teamspeak channel where the server info will be the topic. you'll join, and the two captains will have about 5-10 minutes to instruct thier team on what the strat is. Only one map for this, but teams play both sides.

By the way we aren't necesarrily sending hellrazor as a pilot, more so as infantry, of course he can fly if need be.

Good work... the shit was starting to get a little deep around here. Hopefully this brings some fun back to the game and allow us all to wait peacefully for BF2.

As for teams, I'm sure MHO will want to get our 3 in there in will be in contact very shortly.

As for servers and resources, let me know. I just happen to have quite a few servers available.

I was thinking kursk, then it dawned on me, that kursk is the biggest camp map in all of CTF, so it won't be in consideration. With the spawn packing, artillery, and the possibility that a single pilot can single handidly remove the oppositions ability to reinforce the middle with armor, it's not the best map for what I want to be a good fight all rounds.

Once we have a roster to work with, I'll email and or contact the players and they will respond with what days of the week that absolutly impossible. For example, a very large % of these all stars also play 12v12 conquest on sunday nights, so this isn't an option.

I anticpate it to be around the first of march, some 3 weeks away. Seems like a long time, but in order to have everything done right, it will literally take that long.

I don't think he meant to be offensive, he just was getting the top 10 or 11 teams. And meant that others could join if they wanted too.

I mean garret knows me and the other hnb guys pretty well so he knew we would field a team.

Berlin is heavily favored allied, not much better than kursk imo. especially with the occasional spawn pack.

Kid?!?!? excuse me? Listen assclown, for one, i'm a grown man. One who's spending a chunk of time organizing this and not playing in it so everyone can have a good time and meet some new people under different circumstances.

Since I've explained this twice already and you didn't quite understand it, i'll dumb it down for you. I don't care if you can field 50 players, I need 3 per rostered per team on the ladder. I chose the first 16 on the ladder because they were all fully rostered and active. That way we could get the ball rolling on this. Any additional teams that expressed intrest just message me with the 3 WAYS OF CONTACT that I provided and I'll add your team to the list.

If i automatically included all teams on the ladder, I would have had one division with three inactive teams not fielding players and the other division having an additional 9 players. Then we would have been in a mess.

fielding two pilots out of a total of 3 from the same team makes no sense.

wth, that post made even less sense now that I just noticed that tgbf doesn't even have a team on the ladder anymore... *sighs*

Actually we do, TGBV 1 and TGBV 2. TGBF with BV, check the rosters

Beervision with with about 30% tgbf players ringing doesn't exactly count as tgbf, nor can you speak on Beervision's behalf. The team founder or captain can express intrest in having his team participate, submit the three names from his roster and the divisions will be updated accordingly. will be easy with two teams, one per division.

garret its evenly divided between the two teams , and it's not just beervision who makes the decision's its both TGBF and BV who do the decision making and for the record it's not just a few TGBF ringers its evenly split between both teams.
