Providing the servers on which the matches will be played
Information as far as IP assignment and passwords will be outlined.
We apologize for the schedule changes. These changes were in part due to pressure from sponsers to extend the event and to allow a few more days for the pending sponsers to wrap up the deals. Sometimes these things can take some time and we appreciate all the players who understand. The results will be an easier event that has a good deal of exposure, plus interest the overall prize pool.
**Some Notes**
Times
Times are fixed and based on Eastern Times. 9pm and 10pm is the best balance we can offer for the different timezones. Teams can not arrange for different times or days, unless its earlier then the assigned time, provided there is a server available. Teams are given 10 minutes to arrive. There is no leeway here. Your late, then all I can say is bad break.
Update Patch
If the anticipated patch arrives before the tournament, then all teams will need to update. If it arrives during the tournament, please stay awake and wait for a final word. Problems need to be avoided if the patch happens to be release on the night of a tournament match.
Disputes
There will be several admins on hand. Each admin will be considered "god", and their word is final. All of the admins who are available will be on voice comms with the other admins and myself, Geronimo. All decisions will be swift and final. Teams who wish to dispute will need to come to IRC server gamesnet.net, channel #twl_cod. All Tournament Admins will have their name clearly mark. Disputes can only be filed within 10 minutes of a match completion. If winning teams notice that the match has not been reported after 20 minutes please contact an admin. Information requested regarding disputes needs to be supplied immediately. Any unnecessary delays will result in the dispute being thrown out.
Cheating
Don't expect to play at TWL ever again if you fall into this catagory.
Demos
Required by ALL PLAYERS. All demos from ALL rounds will need to be submitted for review.
Rosters
Team size is 6v6. Teams however have no cap on thier roster. It is the responsibility of the team to distribute prize packages. Teams wishing to create more teams of 6v6 from within their clan is acceptable, so long as the same player does not appear on 2 different teams. Smurfing is not allowed. Caught you face the same penalties found under "Cheating". Opposing teams are responsible for checking the other teams roster. Once a match starts, disputes involving ineligible players will be thrown out.
All other details can be found in the Tournament rules.
