it is microsoft (intellipoint explorer 2.0, wireless) but there is nothing in the setup / settings to recognize any programs, the buttons work with soldier of fortune 2 tho, kinda weird.
Use your intelimouse software to bind those mouse buttons to keyboard keys, then bind the keys to functions in a custom cfg (in CoD). CoD does not recognize the 4 & 5 mouse buttons, which is why you will need to bind them to key strokes instead. When pressing the mouse buttons, it will do what it would if you were pressing the keyboard key.
You can create different profiles ("associate" with a certain app) with the mouse software, so the binded mouse keys will only work with certain applications (choose codmp.exe in this case). Otherweise the mouse buttons will function with defaults for other apps (ie: web browsing etc.)
It will take some looking into (I don't have a MS mouse anymore so can't direct the specifics) but you can find these options in your mouse software. Post edited by Skrappa[DSA] at 3/2/2005 11:29:14 AM
I have 3.0 and once you open the mouse program you can click on settings and add a program. This is where you can select codmp.exe and it will recognize that game in it's setup. 2.0 must not have this option.
