Due to the changes that CAL have been making to their schedule & Maplist, I am making a small change to our maplist so that we sync back up with CAL's maplist as much as we can.

For the last 3 weeks instead of playing:

Week 6: 02/08/05 - Tigertown
Week 7: 02/15/05 - Neuville
Week 8: 02/22/05 - Harbor

the maplist will be changing to:

Week 6: 02/08/05 - Tigertown
Week 7: 02/15/05 - PowCamp
Week 8: 02/22/05 - Neuville

Although for week 6 you will be out of sync, this change should make the end of the season go a little more smoothly for those teams in CAL.

That sucks, the leagues were never synced anyways....this move makes little sense.

How were the leagues synced when setup gave cal-o teams 1 day to practice and cal-m teams 0 days?

TWL is not CAL and should let CAL suffer its own mess....alot of the community members of CAL disliked the confusion and now its starting to spread to "sync".

we should play harbor this is unfair
TAKE OUT TIGERTOWN WORST MAP EVER
You would say that.

I defenently vouch for taking off tigertown, that screen makes me want to throw cookies all over it.
any admins going to respond?

Chicago I thought you were an admin at one time? Whatever happened with that?

Ck... We have always tried to make the map rotations sync up. We dont do this for CAL, but for the many TWL members that play in both CAL and TWL.

Well I don't see how this new change to the map rotation syncs with CAL, if that is what you are trying to do. Dawnville tomorrow for TWL and Depot Sunday for CAL. Then Tigertown the next tuesday then Dawnville for CAL. Where is the sync at exactly? Tigertown isn't even in CAL rotation.
This is what cal is doing so bullet is 100% correct...unless cal came up with something else this was put out on the 26th and its on the OPEN page:

MAP LIST

Week 4 Depot (This is sundays match the 6th)
Week 5 Dawnville
Week 6 POW Camp
Week 7 Neuville
Week 8 Harbor

This map list will serve as the map list for the rest of the season.

CAL OPEN
CAL Open will have Sunday January 30th off. They will resume playing on February 6th with week 4. This will serve as an excellent time to catch up on any makeup matches that you may have outstanding.

so far i haven't even seen much support for tigertown from most of the community

Like Tigertown!
the funny part no one seems to notice is the good of the many didn't outweigh the good of the few in CAL logistics.

cal-i was out of sync, so they decided to change cal-m and cal-o to match cal-i. Screwing over hundreds of teams for the good of 20.

Now, back then I was in cal-i and didn't give a crap what happened to cal-m/o however, now I see they got the shaft on this deal.

In all actuality, cal-i started late, so logically all they had to do was skip a map and play it at the end of the season. I guess if you don't pull sponsorships and attend CPL you're crap to cal. It goes to show, when it comes to CAL, money talks - it's just amazing how the community is taking so long to catch on...
