DMW2 - Not as good as we hoped...

I'm sure they'll address it, but it makes me very nervous to see something so simple and old getting past it. This no testing policy is obviously not working.

It's got great potential, but things like this make it very difficult for us to trust what they say.

it wasn't a simple, install and go. it took some "cleverness" to make it work. every anti-cheat software always has alot of work.

I think the point of the post was that DMW crew claimed it stopped ALL cheats, which is obviously false.

They also refuse help which is just arrogant of them. Its obvious that someone figured out something they didnt think of, so why refuse help?

buzz is a great modder, i completely believe him... who knows maybe dmw will wisen up a bit... oh well, i guess the uk is more tolerant to being told what to do rather than think on their own. lol

Although it WOULD be nice if DMW could listen to reason, I don't belive they are at all concerned if "we" use it or not.

Well as you guys might imagine there are legimate concerns and questions that need to be addressed on top of that we have a bad bug in the current version.

We'll see what information comes our way in the coming days and see how things will proceed.

Actually, previous scanner version beta worked great, with just few specific unresolved issues. The latest scanner works however its missing code not to let older dmw2 clients join server and be scanned and because of this there is a problem. That;s all. This will be fixed soon.

Why the fuck do people cheat in the first place? Can we ever really stop cheaters? I hope so...but I highly doubt it . (Bastards!) Oh yeah I was drunk when I wrote this .
