I was just wondering how some things worked. For starters, can we make a team take path ss's? The reason I ask is this. If we play a team, and we lose, but we want to see their ss's, how do we go about that anyways? Unless we dispute the match, which I would not want to, how do we ever know what their ss's looked like? Can we demand that a team provide path ss's or they will forfeit the match? I dont see why a clean team would deny path ss's.
Hmm....why would a clean team deny path SS's?

I dont know but Im sure you could ask hfx.
Hey Prophet, thats weird man, our next match is against them.....
One of the biggest helps you can have is an OC (Observer corp) at your match who helps make things go smoother. If anything is worthy of closer attention an OC will pass the information along to an admin. Many times an OC may suggest pulling screenshots from the match if they saw a few questionable moments. An admin will take this into consideration and many times screen the match for further review.

Is there anything else you can do? Sure you can ask the other team if they are willing to exchange screenshots, but dont push the issue because its not a rule and can start unnecessary flaming. Some teams may sometimes ask for the match to be played pandora by asking the other team several days in advance. Once again this is not a rule for the ladders thus dont expect every team to oblige.

Your match communications are your key source for agreeing before a match is to take place. You may offer to do many things such as take path SS, play pandora, and exchange SS's after a match is done. This is all fine if the other team agrees, but dont try to force them. You'll find alot of teams are very willing if you explain your reasons without being demanding.
That was uncalled for prophet. Please maintain professionalism. You can ask ANY clan we have played and they will tell u without a doubt that we do not cheat. Anyways, this is not the time or place for this discussion...but for next time we meet..there WILL be an OC there and you WILL NOT find a wat out...

i for one will NEVER send the other team our ss's. i have seen a time when somones ss's was taunted and they labled them a cheater which WASN'T the case. also the other team doesn't deserve the ss's. the one thing that bugs me is when teams act like jersk, then if they loose they ask for your ss's and i just laugh at them.
another thing is it takes some time to get together all ss's and i think its a pain in the ass to do for no reason.

we will only send ss's to an admin if one does request them

If both teams want to exchange SS's maybe each team can select two players on the opposing team. Its always a good idea however to carboncopy everything to an admin to ensure teams remain civil and to elevate any problems that may arise.
Those are good ideas =) I actually agree with u scotty!

Thanks for the info Geronimo. The only reason I posted this here, was because I had asked for an OC to be present at a match just a while ago. I went to the site where you request an OC, but our match was not listed. So I emailed Troll, 2 days before the match, and never got an email in return, so of course, I did not get the OC I had asked for.

If you guys are going to offer OC's to be present, which I think is a great idea and it is very much appreciated, then when someone asks for one, they should get one. If I send out emails with no responses, it gets a little frustrating to say the least.
The OC request site may have had a glitch which I cant really check now due to the match having been completed. But if you choose to email you might want to email all of the admins to ensure a quick response. Every admin is not going to be on everyday and all day. Its just the nature of life.

The email is mohadmins@teamwarfare.com
Thanks again, I was unaware of that. Will do.
Concerning OC's you can email all admins or contact me directly. A question I do have concerning the site is did you guys request an OC through the site or email Troll and just go to see if it was posted? Also requesting an OC and getting an OC is a service we try to provide but it requires available volunteers to accomplish this. The admins can only OC so many matches a night themselves. We have some active OC's and always looking for more. I just added a handfull more OC's last night.

Also any match having an OC that is abusive or overly eager please take SS and email me directly! spaz@teamwarfare.com

Actually if you really want to have fun, since Path SSs arnt admissible, is rename one of your custom maps to..

REALLY BRIGHT NEON SKIN.pk3

Or better yet

NOT A NEON SKIN.pk3

and Send the path shot to the other team if they whine about it like crazy lol

Path ss's are admissable if both teams agree to them. If you are clean, why in the world would a team deny path ss's? There is a program out there that removes all custom files out of your main folder, into a folder entitled custom. Then, after the match is over, you can move them back. It takes 2 minutes to do so. I just dont see why path ss's are such a no no for some teams...
lol @ jester...

someone still has a sense of humor! woohoo!
Rip,

Well I tried to get this in the rules already about ss of the path or using an other anti-cheat with codesecurity. Because if you just use codesecurity and don't get ss why are you using it and why aren't you getting screen shots of the path. Well MadJester said just change a map to a skin hahaha well I know he probably was joking but that would be great because that would prove your not stock custom maps didn't come with the game so he isn't stock like the rules say. When we play matches I ask for screen shots and them to be sent before the match and half the teams never answer makes me wonder why.... Just my 2 cents thanks
Hey Whip,

actually you brought up some good points that I am sure have been brought up before, but I want to know some things. For starters, I believe that custom crosshairs and scopes are not allowed correct? Well, if we cannot ask for path ss's, and teams do NOT have to send in ss's to the opposing team if asked, then how the hell do you know what people are using? If we play a match, and all goes well, and we lose, and we dont have any right or need to dispute, then how will anyone ever know if they are in fact cheating, if the only time forced ss's are sent in is when there is a dispute?

This seems to me to be a bit catch 22. Sure, we can take forced ss's, but we cannot appeal without valid grounds, thus those ss's will never be seen, since we cannot request a team to send them in to us. No where have I seen in the rules where it states that a team is under obligation to send in ss's to an opposing team, unless it is a dispute, and in that case the ss's are sent in to the admins.

This seems to be not much of an anti-cheat measure if you ask me. At least make the path ss's mandatory, and make it so that two players from each team can be asked to send in their ss's. Make it mandatory, that if they do NOT send them in to the opposing team, they forfeit the match regardless of the outcome, and will be suspended for two weeks. Make it tough on cheaters, not easy going.

There is 100% absolutely no reason for a team to deny path ss's, or deny sending their ss's in to an opposing team if asked. I saw a post about zipping them up and how much time it takes. Get real! It takes about 5 minutes to do this. It is funny that everyone can play for hours and hours, but they cant take 5 minutes to send in ss's proving they dont cheat. In my mind, anyone who does not send in ss's or will not take path ss's are hiding something.
