UAC3 reminder + fix your SS

Just a lil reminder for the UAC3 rules :

All matches must use the TWL approved anti-cheat UAC software.

It is the responsibility of both teams to make sure all players are logged into UAC under the correct game and correct match ID before the match starts.

All players must be in UAC for the duration of the whole match. If UAC crashes or a PC crash, players must re-join UAC to continue to play in the match.

Players found to persistently returning “Blank/Black/Clear” screenshots will be suspended indefinitely.

For help on Blank/Black/Clear Screenshots visit the UAC FAQ or any other UAC help on TWL’s forums or UAC’s official website.

Players must upload Screenshots to the UAC server within 24 hours of the match finishing, even after a pc crash. Failure to do so will result in a suspension until all screenshots are uploaded.

Players must not disconnect from UAC during the match (unless a technical issue arises) Player must reconnect to UAC within 5 minutes of the disconnect or leave the match server, until they can reconnect to UAC successfully. Player(s) ignoring this rule will receive a five day suspension.

Any issues with UAC Connectivity, Installation, Registration, etc. are to be directed to UAC . TWL does not handle these issues currently.

If we are able to use it... Everybody can use it!

Here is how to fix it:

If you have black screen shots, please make sure to apply your screen resolution into you unamedsoldier.cfg

The fix is to remove only one pixel from each side of your screen.

Ex, for a 1920X1080 resolution:

seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customheight "1079"
seta r_customwidth "1919"

Thats it!

it means everyteam is allowed to use black ss cept clutch. every clan complained when we had black screen shots, we fixed them. now they come with half their people not connected and other half black ss

Geeega, I'm the one with the help of maxpower that actually made the AC admins change the rules talking to them on mirc when the ladder started. They agreed to make the rule of suspend ppl returning black/gray SS. So far NO ONE HAS. Now they literally trash it away. And there's the proof with that SS, they don't care about the SS just "scans". So why I should keep trying to be an example trying to make this ladder better since there is no support at all.

Well AMQ and all the teams we have played so far have clean ss's and I hope that between us we will continu. As far as the admins, if they are going to make up rules just go by them. There's the proof that the guy can run uac straight and clean with no lag so why doesn't he need to run it properly when the league asks you to run it.

If not twl admins please change the rules Or take off the AC

That's what I'm talking about, Crearly they say that scans are more important than SS, so in my experience take a look of this 2 last matches we had: 620274, 620607. OK lets say "don't bother with the black ss", but not only for us but for the rest of the teams I have seen many matches where ppl are so uneven in scans for example, 80% of the players have over 30 scans then there's 2 or 3 with 5, even 1!!, so where is the punishment there?

i didnt say i had 50 fps the whole time, however it would drop down below 50 fps every like 20-30 seconds esp when i was in a battle or a grenade exploded and it was choppy as fuck. like i said i record everything so if u think something is fishy u can just watch my demo. i refuse, absolutely REFUSE to use a program that alters the way i play - that's unfair to me, yeah im being selfish. If i can't play at my 100% then why should i play? in my opinion, if im logged into UAC the whole time AND have a demo then you have all the tools necessary to see if im fishy or not. Plus, some of my screenshots work sometimes and sometimes they are black like in my last match 2 ss's worked (randomly) while i was playing and i had a demo, the admin looked at the demo and saw that i was not hacking - problem solved. Sorry for being selfish but i cant be competitive if my game is choppy/laggy.

We had to switch resolution too windex... Why not run a program properly just like all the other players? As far as, fps/ping/lag we don't all have the same pc/internet.

Enkei already warned you for the tdm if you play like that it's a dispute right off. We know that your uac works. Just use it and let's have a good match.

There's only one reason people play without viewable ss. We all know what it is and I have no idea why people act naive about it. The only thing more naive is this talk of demos. If you're not aware, mohaarecorder does not record the game with hacks even if hacks are being used. If you're aware of this and are still claiming that demos are a valid form a.c. I need not debate with you further.

To your post, giga, about all the teams you've played having clean ss I refer you to matchid 620545. There you will find that in your match against sp they had 2 members that returned no viewable screenshots and the other 3 only have screenshots from one side of a match that went into triple overtime. One of their players had FOUR screenshots for the entire match. Now maybe they just failed to upload all their ss, which of course is against the rules. Or maybe all 3 of them had their uac crash simultaneously and just didn't get back on, which of course is against the rules. This league is a joke any way you cut it.

in my 12 years of mohaa i have never hacked, nor will I, and TLH very well knows i dont - as i play with them all the time. My UAC works, it will be running, and i will try and see if i can get UAC to work with the resolution I play in. Atrophy, still bitter about us beating you? Complain about it on xfire to me - erodriguez; don't showcase your bitterness in front of everyone it doesn't make you look better.

I agree that people shouldn't have to play with a custom resolution to get clear screens... its so funny that you people choose the most broken AC

Use Mohaac then no one has to complain anymore.

If anyone has a fix avaible for a 52 inch TV without costing money, please let me know. and if not please stfu about unclear ss's and take the beating like a man. or Twl can just switch to mohaac and everything will be all ok.


Alto, please stfu, you lost, TWICE in a row on the same map, with better players, nothing you bitch about will change that.

And max, i do agree with you on DEMO not being a good way of a.c, but the admin can run there own cheats (wallhacks, most common used) and be able to see if a player is following another player through the wall...

Mohaac + Demo.dm3 or Updated Reverend (Blackbart said he would update it if TWL agreed to use it.) will be the only solution to all this, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PLAYERS WHO GET UNCLEAR SS's - what are you gonna do ban 80% on the community on the suspsion that they "might hack"...

Let me ask this, if UAC didnt have the feature of producing screenshots - would you consider this a "Ok" anti cheat for TWL??

Iv tried ReVo's fix, it will not work with the size TV i have unless i wanna play choppy, if everyone really wants to get technical.. playing with the fix/windowed mode gives the broke/cheap people in this game that still run XP a better advantage over people who arnt broke bc they dont have to play windowed/choppy. So really the fix is actully a cheat for the XP users. if you wanna go by defanition here it is (3. I feel like a nerd after all that.

When I am forced to use the fix (which I will no longer be using during a match) I get blotchy color and can't see people glitching or anyone in the distance.

ya its dumb, why should they people who upgraded there computer have to suffer bc others live in the past...(Windows XP)

I get random bars aswel with my new pc, not gonna play if i have to fuck all my game graphic because this AC doesnt work properly.

Well Revo needs to start talking to the admins about AC and using Mohaac, honestly it still doesnt make any sense why we dont use it.

i don't think you understand what that "1 pixel" does and why this fix works. it allows windows to overlay it's graphics API over the game. on some video cards (generally the Radeon HD cards) windows modifies the color settings in its default overlay, thus, that 1 pixel difference which DOES fix the ss problem causes a problem with the colors. I get random bars all over the place, as well as color fragmentation. So yeah, while it fixes 1 problem it causes more.

Every single time we've played on the hunt I can't see people in the ruins because they completely blend in with the background. Every time I play V2 i can not tell where the wall ends and where the glitch begins because the colors bleed together.

I've kept playing just because I want to play this game for fun, but it's fucking retarded.

dude you do realize that just because it works for you , it doesnt mean it work for others right?

the fix implies a few things:
1. your comfortable playing with a new resolution
2. you have a good computer that can handle some extra lag
3. you are ok without taking in-game screenshots (the fix will cause mohaa to crash when a ss is taken)

even if the fix is universal and works for everyone, which it is far from, the main point is why in the world would u put up with this crap when there is an ac out that:
1. actually prevents cheating
2. always gives clear screenshots
3. does not lag anyone
4. auto-records
5. monitors the server to see who is actually active on the ac
6. offers in-game speech and overlay telling u who is active or not, their scans, screenshots, etc
7. isnt bypassed by 11 year olds

and i can keep going for awhile lol

Yeah, my PC screen got beer or something poored on it at a party i had and wont turn on anymore, so i just said fuck buying a new one and hooked my PC up to my TV

Revo has already stated that both teams can agree to play on Mohaac, but you would have to run uac3 as well. So just play with black/grey SS on uac3 and let Mohaac be the real a.c. program in the match. Not sure what all the crying is about. UNLESS, the real issue here is that everyone wants to avoid playing with viewable ss, and since you all know that twl has explicitly stated they won't change a.c. programs, you can make yourself seem interested in playing a clean match by arguing in favour of Mohaac. Just a theory.

There is no point in running an extra program in the background that is scanning your computer, that is like adware/malware or antiviruses scanning at the same time....
The only way this works is to have teams agree to either or. In My Opinion.

Not only for me tho but all my team members.

- All 2005-2012 computers have enough processing power/performance to play this game very well! You can play with an Intel integrated video card and will still have more than 100 FPS ... which is to much anyways lol

Back in 2003-2005 I remember all the whining and complaining about reverend and what a shitty program it was because it "lagged" them and how they didn't want to bother using it. Bullshit excuses were annoying enough at THAT time. To put into context how shitty your computer would have to have been for this to be a legitimate complaint, I used to host the scanner and play in matches at the same time on a pentium 3 with no more than 512mb of ram. If in 2012 you still have a computer that performs worse than my old piece of shit on the level you all are claiming I think maybe it's time to give up gaming as a hobby. Of course, I don't actually believe poor computer performance is the real driving force behind all the complaining. It wasn't back in the days of dmw and it isn't today. I wish the admins would give the thumbs up for mohaac so I could sit back and watch the new wave of excuses for why that program is a waste of time.

well, UAC is known to cause lag issues for people with slow CPUs because it scans your entire harddrive for hacks (unnecessary?)... so if you have cham skins that you deleted 2 years ago, UAC could detect it... we're not the only ones to say UAC is bad, theres very few people that actually think that AC is good, and hackers just laugh at it (x22 bypassed it in less than 2 hours... and the mohaac creator even warns that its very easy how to bypass it)

and i can guarantee u that no one will think mohaac is a waste of time... remember that if mohaac came out in 2004, american mohaa would have evolved completely differently... prob would have even went back on cal (cause cal dropped mohaa cause there was no good anticheat)

Maybe if the creator wasn't busy back in the day bypassing reverend in order to be the top team in ogl we could have had mohaac back then.

^^True, but im sure other things would have popped up, nothing is 100% uncrackable, but i will say that mohaac is harder to crack and will take awile b4 its fully cracked.

And i think the people who dont like mohaac only dont like it because of who made it.. so they wont even try it... maybe if TWL would recruit 1-2 more mohaa admins they all 3 could learn the features of mohaac and would find that its far SUPPIROR Than UAC.
