After a rather productive discussion with many people in the community last night regarding Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Vlasic, Zed and myself thought that AA could be maintained by adding a League. The advantage to this is a smaller group of teams that can be monitored. The teams will be admitted only with the permission of the admins. The format will be as follows but of course is open to negotiations at this time.

32 Teams
2 Conferences East/West
2 Divisions Per Conference composed of 8 teams each.

4 week Pre-Season
8 weeks of Season Play
4 Weeks of Play off to determine the Champion

Format will be Round Based Team Death Match 6v6. Best of 5 wins the map.

There will be a designated League match night on which all matches will be played and the same map will be played by each team for that week.

Now, some people will say why Round Based Team Death match?

Well my response is this, best of both worlds. We have 6 viable TDM maps to work with. Most matches in Objective seem to end with the other team being killed and the Objective not completed anyway. The other advantage is that it will require new strategies for the teams to win their matches. There will be no respawn, so the skill of survival and hunting the other team comes into play. And yes, you can work for a draw as well. This is where tactics and teamwork come into play.

Now, there will be some stipulations placed on teams participating in the League. You must police your teams. If we determine that someone on your team cheats, the entire team will be remove from the League. You are here to play and not look for every excuse possible to win by forfeit. More to follow.

"ANY COUNTRY THAT BANS pr0n DESERVES TO BE LEVELED."

"...Everybody knew on September 10th Osama bin Laden was a threat to the United States and its interests. He was not dealt with decisively. Look what happened. That is the president's policy now. See a threat, deal with the threat or pay the price ... and Iraq is test number one."

Ayay
This is good News! However I think it will only work with teams that have been on TWL for a long time, I aint knocking new teams that just came out, but im talking about in terms of flaming and accusations. From what i've seen and being apart of TWL for so long, there has been virtually no type of flaming, or accusations based on teams that have been here a long time. Some of the older teams would agree to this.

Also I like the rant board that TWL created, it allows teams to make certain comments before a match starts, which shows the community a teams charactor, and how they take the competition. It shows just how mature and serious a team is, about making TWL a friendly community, it helps alot.

TWL should also create an ( After thought rant board ) for matches that came and went, allowing us to post comments about the match that just took place, basically teams get to talk about the match, and how it ended. It will help break down a match, and show just how mature the losing or winning team is after a match. TWL can use that to break down a teams sportsmanship, it will also reduce the flames, as it will give both teams a chance to talk about certain experience's that match. TWL can monitor a teams behavior through that, and give out suspensions or even banning teams that start flaming on it. I thik it will help, these are just my opinions. How many times have you seen on TWL's forums a GG thread after a match has ended? Alot! Well twl should make an ( After Thoughts Of a The Match ) Board. Like the Rant Board.

TWL needs to take this into consideration, if we want to help keep MOH:AA clean as well as the community

Count us in =GBU=, win or loose we enjoy playing in TWL and all the (most) clans that we have played
[BoRo] is currently #1 in RB (6-0) cant leave us out. : )
TWL mohaa has turned into the NFL, playoffs, seasons, preseason, confrences, divisions !!
DsA would be interested, i know we joined not so long ago and i would understand you if you prefer choosing older teams.
I honestly dont think a team's Record means anything here Impact. TWL just wants to make sure that all team's both losing or winning gets along before and after a match. What we should all ask ourselves is, are we all willing to help twl end the flaming and accusations? I know PhatPipe is, and many others are willing. Those teams that want to help in that department should be allowed to be apart of this, not just because your ranked number 1.

And yeah #1 shouldnt mean you get in I guess we were only one of the few clans that expressed interest in the RB ladder that every other clan felt they were to good for besides the 25 that were in there.

interesting, sounds like it might work....
any realism ladders?
We were in the rbTDM since its creation, but we just dropped all ladders to reformat the team - under a new name. =|HK|= was created long ago, and for months now we have been under new leadership, me being a part as an older member, and am proud of this change. Since the loss of our origional 2 leaders months ago, a part of HK has died.

I would be honored to be invited into the new league upon its creation next month (or whenever), but understand its lack of space. We've always loved the competition, yet have never taken it too far, in my opinon.

Thank you TWL for giving MoH a second chance nonetheless.

Sorry bro your flash kills my page load. Had to remove it.
Thats awesome, we are 14-2 and the two losses were to eCm and a team that was kicked shortly there after for cheating, so i cant wait. Is there going to be any realism or maybe an option to allow it if mutually agreed? Anyway, we would like to be in, so let me know if that is a possiblity.
Excellent..

I'm more than interested in becoming a Division Coordinator..

iofrost@attbi.com

just to prevent future useless posts and keeping this sticky on track.. i don't really think clarifying your history or rung will persuade an invitation. the admin's already have an idea (or will) of who they are 'inviting'.
BTW.. this may sound like a dumb idea but..

If you create this league, would it be a good idea to "Format" the forums so that all the flames and accusations can't be seen again?

Sounds Awesome!

Fear is the product you push and I'm a truth addict...AW SH*T I GOT A HEADRUSH!
Thanks to ALL the admins and to all the gamers who came out last night to find a common ground solution for a MOHAA future on TWL. I saw a lot of familiar faces last night in IRC(thanks to brianna for helping me out with getting in), and it was the first time in a long time where I honestly think that a positive direction can be founf in the mist of all the b.s. and the b.s.ers...

When can we expect further information on this TC?

P.s. Do I get any cudos for part of this being my idea TC? How about some stock or something? lol

Hey |*WoM*| doesnt care if they win or loose we will still play to ahve fun and not cheat tlak shit or sware we also do not brag are record liek sum people [impact] lol well we would love to come in....and another thing is there
should be a Admin at everymatch. Thx again for getting this up and i hope to see you in march with the new ladders. |*WoM*| For life gl teams that make it. Teams that dont amke it GL on ogl
This does sound like a good compromise for many teams, but my team [420thSS] has played realism exclusively since April or May of last year. We have played more matches than every other team in the real RB ladder, excluding the #1 team. We have never disputed a match (even when we should have, hence, some of our losses), and to our knowledge, we have never had a match dispute entered against us.

Would we be excluded from receiving an invitation because we have not been in the stock RB ladders? I hope not.

While Im making my post, and on the heels of the disappointing news about the closing of the ladders, I want to add my two cents:

I have had several interactions with TC, Smak_Wizard, and other TWL admins, usually about late reporting of losses, and things like that, and have always found them helpful and efficient. I want to thank you guys for making my life as a team captain a little bit easier. Naturally, Im not happy about TWL's decision, but your work over the last year has given me MANY MANY HOURS of enjoyment.

FOR THAT I THANK YOU

And to Gage of [TRK] - you guys better hold on to the #1 spot on the OBJ ladder, because we're coming - one last time - 420thSS vs TRK - THE UBERMATCH!!!! (dont forget your skunk)
Given the rather large amount of teams, maybe we should put it to 64 or less teams. A lot of groups want in some might not get excepted with 32..

Thats the problem Frost, there are to many teams, most teams dont even care and only play to create more BS. 32 teams seems to be perfect, it will stop alot of the nonsense thats be going around lately.

I think TWL finally realized the only way to stop the BS is by reducing the amount of teams on a ladder, and only should invite serious teams that have been here a long time, and some of the new reespectable teams that never cause problems on forums and stuff.

TWL also realized they simply dont have the man power to handle over 60 teams, in terms of admin's watching matches, or handling certain disputes. Its a good call by TWL.
great idea guys. Not to flame because that doesnt help,Maj. Mac EcM got kicked for whatever reason. eCm didnt we were 15-0 in roundbased

No league to start with. I have tossed around the idea of leaving 1 Realism ladder since I virtually never get a complaint from that group of players.

The point is simple. If one person on the team cheats the entire team is gone. In the past the team would be allowed to stay if they took measures against the players. There will be no leway now.

If it happens count [*BoA*]-Clan in. I love TWL and MoH:AA please don't get rid of it. There are so many programs being made to stop cheats as of right now. Most should be done very soon.

I'd like to Admin over the new league(s)- 'd have unbiased/neutral decisions as i'm not on a team anymore, and we all know i'm active :-). what do you think?
yeah super hates everyone equally...
What do you think about having bigger teams lets say 8 v 8 or 10 v 10 or +. I think it would change the strategies on alot of the maps. And let more player play.
