After matches, we would hang out on our server a lot and have mauser wars. Everybody on axis, FF on, everybody has a mauser and go for it. It would be funny as hell to have 2 or 3 spawn in the same room and jumping and moving around while trying to take each other out with a mauser.
at the start of intraclan matches, we have pistol tournaments in Remagen with the other players in the thing that looks like spectator stands in allied spawn. The most exciting experience I have ever had in a match was my clans first "official" clan match. It was an OGL objective match and we were playing V2. We were up 7-6 with one round left. (20 minutes per map but going into it I was pretty sure this would be the last round.) Well someone I got lucky and I was the last one left on my team vs. one other player from the other team. I had a smg and I was on the ground. The other clan member was on the top floor door farthest to the left from the axis point of view. (I was Allies). He had a sniper rifle so I did the whole waggling around like a duck as I let out two full clips of my smg on him...sorta...he kept closing and opening the door. There was like only 10 seconds left when I took out my nades and I threw two quick nades at him. The first one missed him because he went back inside the building but I saw the last one still in the air as he came out the door. Then it exploded and killed him. We won that match 8-6. The thing was that if he would just have camped inside and not tried to win the round he would have won the round on time putting us into overtime because no way in hell was I going to try to set the V2 bomb while he was sniping. This type of high intensity match is what I prefer. I love winning but I would much rather win close like this then blow out a team ( I think? LOL). We've been on the other side of the coin though several times too losing at the last second.
ive got a good one. on 12-4-02 we had a twl tdm match our beloved founder [D12C]troll had been disconnected and was rejoining the map when someone joins with the name unnamed soldier we start typing in who is this. he had to know the pass word to get in so we ask the other team and they dont know either, so troll rcons in and console ask who is this about 5 minutes go by with him asking who is this and he finally says over rw holy crap its me. was a good laugh for all of us.

Well this didnt occur in a match situation, but I've never laughed so hard in recent memory. Me and our member Irishman were on our server late at night, both on gv. We were schooling a new recruit, so the teams were the new guy against me, irish and this random newb who dropped in and we didnt have the heart to kick. This newb was the funniest newb EVER! Me and irish were sniping and the newb was mging, so we kept sending him out in front. He kept getting slaughtered. Irish said, "NEWB RUSH IN" and the newb would just run right out into the open and get killed. The funniest point came when I used the voice commands to say "You take point." So the noob went out in front, cocked a nade, threw it, and it bounced off of a poll and killed himself. I was laughing SO hard, I couldn't even breathe.
