CAL SEASON 3 to start soon!

Some of the best teams play both on TWL and CAL. Whats nice about CAL is that its a league not a ladder, so you know you have a match every week at pretty much the same day and time.

Agrees with chryzm, if you think your the best and have something to prove join up.

Question: when do they allow the joining of new teams, we have done what they say to sign up but it gives us the "rosters are currently closed" or whatever right now, know what date they allow new teams to join

season 2 jsut ended give it a week to a few weeks to open up for singups.

also i would like people who r going to join cal to voice there opinons about the rocket issue. last seasont he rockets were a pain and i would liek to see rockets limited to 2 max per team. only way they can change the rules is if teams all want it changed and voice there opinon

I dont know man... CAL is cool but the real champions are the Squadgames North American TDM Champions But I could be a little biased.

LOL @ Hugh its so true, SG 1 loss and you go home survival of the fittest. SG is CAL's playoffs with 32 teams which i think every1 can agree is the most exciting part of CAL, the playoffs. Both leagues are exceptional and I recommend only the best TDM teams come out so If you have something to prove sign up.

TWL cant be as good as CAL, they dont own thier own servers for match play, and definatly not as organized

SG has weapons restrictions and it looks like CAL is headed that way too. Too bad. Seems like these are just frustrated "realism" players who want to kill the fun for everyone else and in the process call them noobs just to make themselves feel superior because they can then OWN with their no-recoil SMG =p

Come on DocD, realism players play realism. Its why there is two ladders here

The restrictions of the weapons comes at the request of a majority of the players, and if you look, the chance of limited weapons comes at the overall vote of the players. What makes a league strong is that it caters to its players. If a majority of the players feel that a rule is biased or that a certain part of the game is unnecessary or unfair, it is left up to the players in the league. Who better to decide what happens in the league than the players? While we are on it, if a team of 6 people needs more than one or 2 rockets to beat a team of 6 people that are not using rockets, whats the point in even playing.


The registration will open on monday I think. Not totally sure but I am told that it will.
