1v1 MATCH COMMS

We are having problems with players working out there matches outside of the match comms. People are using email or an instant messenger instead. Even thought that can help out, any agreements MUST BE IN MATCH COMMS. If not it will be null and void since we have no record of it. This means if you reschedule a match on like AIM and not post it in match comms. The player that does not post gets the forfiet loss for a no show.

Also people need to read the rules on rescheduleing. You have 3 days to reschedule a match in from the original match time. We have been leanient on this and been giving 7 days in most cases, but any more than that is too long. The player that can not get the match situated, who is not trying or was the original one who missed the match time will be forfeited.

FORUM POSTS

I recently read a moved thread which started out as a GG post and turned ugly.

Let me hint for ya folks. If you got a problem with a match bring it to an admin. If it's not a problem don't start posting your little accusations. It will get you forum banned and if continued game play suspensions for one week.

Hollandaise and Juvenile, yes this was directly brought about by your thread.

Chris & Andrew when you read this message me.

OT RULES

In the event if overtime is needed. You will play the overtime immediately following the conclusion of the map that was tied. You will play first to 5 kills or most in 10 minutes. If it is tied again in the OT, the defender is awarded the win. The ot is to determine the winner of that paticular map, you will then move onto the next map listed in the rotation for you to play.

This is for all tdm, correct. For RB you do first to win 3-5 rounds, if round is tied replay till you get 3. For Obj. it's the same, if a tie keep playing till you get a winner.

DISPUTES

Most of you have been on these ladders long enough to know what to do. You fill out the dispute form. An admin will be in contact with you from there. All details will be gone over with the admins through the means the admin contacts you in. It may be emails. It may be through a voice comm.

Teams filing disputes via match comms, filing disputes with no proof, filing disputes with attitudes toward admins will not be received. Do not complain about another team when your being just as unsportsmanlike. These are common sense things in my opinion.

Take the time to be thorough leave the attitude elsewhere when filing disputes. It's not a task anyone likes doing from either end.

Due to some recent disputes, and confusion, I want to clear something up.

We (the admins) know that when a team accepts a challenge, the two dates they pick are not always ideal. If you challenge a team, and the dates do not work you for, you have two mediums to work it out. You can ask for a reschedule, but the defender is not obligated to always grant this request. If they are unwilling to reschedule, there is a second option. If those dates absolutely do not work for you, you can request a match kill. A match kill is essentially a deletion of the match entirely, and does not show in your match history.
The defender is NOT obligated to grant either of these requests, although we do ask that teams do when its reasonably possible.
If the attacker cannot get a reschedule, or a match kill, they do need to show up for the agreed upon time, or they will receive a forfeit loss.
If you have any questions on this policy, feel free to contact me, or any of the other ladder admins.
