MOH Committee For Sportsmanship

For those of you who don't know, the Devils Brigade has established the Committee For Sportsmanship, an inter-clan organization to research, educate and take action against cheating and hacking. Currently the Committee has the support of most of the top teams on OGL but we are always looking for more, especially TWL.

The Committee has planned an inter-clan conference via IRC to take place during the week of Aug. 26th (exact date to be determined this week) to discuss, share information, and discuss strategies to counter this problem. Numerous requests have been sent out to Electronic Arts and 2015 to have representatives present at the conference, so at bare minimum we are expecting a detailed information release to be provided for the conference. Any clan, or individuals (especially TWL administrators) who wish further information about the conference or the Committee should contact me at red_guard@sympatico.ca.

We look forward to hearing from you.

In solidarity

Thanks RedGuard for the information. I'm very interested and ecourage a representative from every team to show up at the meeting if possible - it will be well worth your time I'm sure and the more that show up, the better.

I think you have a great motivation and I applaud you for your efforts!

I honestly believe however people who know EA are snickering here though and I’ll save you the trouble.. you’ll get a form letter from EA "if your lucky" here is what it will probably say..

"Dear so and so. Thank you for purchasing our EA product! We appreciate and value you as a customer. Our programmers are working hard to support our games line of action, adventure and sports. Good news! Ea plans on releasing an exciting new NBA simulation this Fall! To receive exciting new offers and updates on EA's fall sports line, please include an email address below so we can keep you up to date with our latest news! We are also offering a special new utility software bundle with all the latest utility programs from Gator software for only $29.95"

LOL, you are such a cynic

Actually, I have sent out a number of emails, received some replies, and 2015 is particularly receptive (the president of 2015 sent me an email 10 minutes after I sent mine). EA may be locked down like Alcatraz but at least 2015 is a nice company to deal with. We will see...

yea.. sorry for my cynism. but it's not fabricated out of thin air but from a track record of EA established LONG before I cam on the scene.

I hope you have luck with 2015..

I was saying given EA hasn't done anything to fix the lamest of bugs in MOH and now is going to package up some maps and banning feature and sell what should have been free.. well dosen't give me warm fuzzies.

RedGuard is that you? |T|X|C|?

|T|X|C|? If that refers to a clan, no, sorry it's not me. I'm {TDB}, always have been.

Im just waiting 4 deathstalker 2 come here and post, cause he knows everything about cheating and how their will never be any form of anticheat patch... BUT on the other hand i hope u guys do figure something out thats awsome if u do...

No tuekid, you have me wrong there, the anti-cheat posted on these forums will never work, now maybe if Ea or 2015 come out with one, then we will have a "challenge" but as for now...no problem at all.... I would also like to apologize for my behavior last night, i had a little too much to drink and i had a bad day. Sorry to everyone..
