The OGL MOHAA obj rules did suck. There was around 60 clans on the ladder with the old rules intact. The rules have been updated now (check the link above) and they are much more fair now. That same ladder with the updated rules now has 120+ clans on it.
What are the important differences between the OGL rules and the TWL rules? Or whats wrong with the TWL rules that needs to be changed? I dont understand.....again.....
That ladder had 120 teams on it the entire time it was locked while the rules where being locked down. There isn't much point to two ladders with the same rules is there? The rules here won't be changing. Besides, the top 10 on this ladder changes quite a bit so they can't be that bad
The rules they have are much more fair. Thats all I was trying to say. Fairness is more fun, haha. I just wanna see this League thrive. It was the first league I was a part of. Come on TC, talk to Vars and the TWL Sr. Staff and see what they think.

You want them to be fair!? I don't play obj in the ladder, but in war, do you see fairness? No, usually, the attacker has the bestter odds when going into battle, but its never 'fair' for both sides. If anything, the rules should be changed to be partly in the attacker's favor like in all battles. Whether or ot the opposition turns the tables or not, they start out behind. (They might already be like that, but I don't know. I don;t play obj.)
life aint fair. true. but i play games to escape life some times. in war it wasnt fair, but this is not war. it is a game based on war. i guess if you dont play obj, you dont know how much fair means to us.

On this ladder, the advantage does to the Defender. They get to choose 2 of the sides. They always choose to be the defending side, becuase they can setup easier and they get to use the clock to their advantage. So the Attacker on the ladder gets to defend once, while the Defender on the ladder gets to defened twice. Its a best of 3 maps. The defender usually wins the match becuase of the advantage they have. In OGL's rules (link above) the rules are fair.
Read both rules and you will know what I'm talking about! If you guys want to play with advnatages going to both teams and them not just going to the Defender, help me get TWL's obj rules updated more like OGL's obj. Post edited by Jordo at 8/4/2002 1:39:17 PM
If you like OGL better, play their and not here. If you like TWL better, play here and not their.
I for one am glad both are different. Whats the point in offering up the same ladder on different sites with identical rules? All TWL would be is an extension to OGL which im sure TWL doesnt want to be considered.
We are playing OGL obj, we just signed up. But we also would like to play on TWL obj cuz we know its a great League. But we cant do that until some of the rules are made more fair.
Although I see your point about rules and Leagues being different, having rules as fair as possible would be more fun. Right now OGL's rules are by for more fair then TWL's. Post edited by Jordo at 8/4/2002 2:50:19 PM
