1v1 problem

I just challenged a guy. I kept refreshing my home page and the "Player Competition Status" box, it always says TBD in the Status box. I.e no acceptance. However, when I click on Admin, it tells me that the guy accepted.

In short, I think there is something wrong when someone Accepts and I don't think the home page shows you until I choose a date offered. It continues to say TBD for status. I beleive this is the reason why I unknowingly forfeited a match before. I continued to check my home page and never saw an Accept.

I'm sending you this with hopes that this might be fixed and to point you to something more concrete to try and debug. In the meantime I'll continue to click on Admin to be sure but this probably could use some looking into.

It's TBD because the date hasn't been finalized, and you're expected to check where you did to see if it's been accepted. I think it's something you will just get used to - I've never seen any other comments about this.

I can and will do that. But as an enhancement, it would be nice to report that it was Accepted on the home page. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Good suggestion actually, at a glance you can't tell if the person you challenged has accepted unless you go to the admin panel.

... which seems inconsistent from 2v2 where you know on your home page what is going on. (hence my confusion for awhile).

I have another cosmetic suggestion you can file anywhere from your database to the recycle bin It would be nice on your home page to see if there were any NEW updates made in the Match Comms. Or how many match comms are posted (again consistent with the 2v2 ladder). Right now, I always open to check for updates. But it would be clean if I could see that right there on my home page that anything was posted.

I guess in general, I like how the 2v2 layout works and it would be a good idea for consistency with the 1v1 layout.

How do I join the 1v1 ladder? I'm not seeing anything that jumps out & says, "Click me to join."

Go into your profile and there is a button to Join A Ladder. You will see 2k4 1vs1 as one of the options.

wow i just checked the forums on the utk4 ladders and eggsuckingleech and xynix are the most *edit*you've asked them to do like 4 things on 3 different post that are ganna take alot of time and work. *edit*
