TWL AA: PG League Playoffs (EU) - The road to the Final

That's it. Only one match more and we'll finally know who's the best team of the Winter League! Most of the matches were casted by James Carter on his Twitch.tv channel. Remember to subscribe his channel, so you'll know when is he going live with AA PG casts! Below you can find a quick review of the matches that took place so far in the Playoff stage.

Quarterfinals (Watchdog):
Perfect synchronisation, teamplay and various tactic approaches - that's how you gain advantage on this map. Of course, teams starting on attack side will have a more difficult time to win this defense-sided map. However, there are certain ways to increase your chance to eventually win the match.

Offline Mod 11-1 In Articulo Mortis
VIDEO
The only Polish team in the Playoffs had to face one of the best teams in the EU (World?). In fact, this match was pretty one-sided; Offline Mod lost only one round. OffMod didn't make any mistakes and played consistently. Even with Iam being a man up. OffMod's experience helped them to win this match without any problem.

Virtual Insanity Clan 11-4 Commando Forze Speciali
Unfortunately, this match wasn't casted. I think that guys from -VI- were the favorite team of this clash. However, I thought that CoMfOs will snatch away much more rounds from them.

In my opinion, the best match of the Quarterfinals I had a chance to watch. Both teams performed well, which lead us to a draw, followed by multiple (!) overtimes. I strongly recommend this match for everyone to watch! The closest match of the Playoff stage so far.

Grow uP Gaming 11-6 Extra Delicious Pancakes

Another thrilling, close match with skilled players on both sides. The first half of this match, with Pancakes on defense, ended up in a draw (5-5). After the side change, Grow uP completely dominated the match, winning 11-6.

Semifinals (Inner Hospital):
In my opinion, one of the best maps in this game. If you make any mistakes in the defense, it is that much harder to win while attacking. The factors that can make a significant difference on this map are the element of surprise when you are on assault or patience and consistency when you are on defense.

Unfortunately, no matches of the semifinal stage were casted.

Offline Mod 5-11 Virtual Insanity Clan
Well... Looks like VI practiced a lot since the last meeting of these teams. They met on the very same map a few months ago. In fact, OffMod easily won 11-3. Now, the score was completely different! It only proves that no one is unbeatable. Congratz!

Grow uP Gaming 11-3 Playhard
There was no obvious favorite of this match, therefore this score is a big surprise for me. I know what both of those teams are capable of. Their last match, which took place in the regular season, ended up with a score 11-6 in favor of Grow uP Gaming.
