2.5 is out and the TWL leagues have been reworked with new rules! Recent gameplay changes promise that the competition level will rise stifly as teams battle it out for their respective League Titles. The Open Leagues are TWL's most populated venue where teams can test their skill and make a name for themselves. While originally slated to be 6v6 we have recently revamped the competition to be 4v4. This means a greater number of teams and a wider variety of talent will have a chance to come out and show their stuff!

League signups are now open! The Open Leagues are available to anyone who thinks their team has what it takes to top the charts.

Signups are open for a limited time, but due to the recent change to a 4v4 format they will now be closing November 6th at Midnight. This is your team's chance to really compete so grab three friends and don't wait until the last minute. To sign up select the "Join New Competition" link on your team's page. Come prove yourself!

Great news but your link is borked

none of the euro links are working for me.. Old as well as new link.. kinda hard to sign up then 8)

I know they are empty right now but we can expect to see some team listings in a few days. Oh yeah, and if you weren't sure, that IS Cypress' handiwork sitting at the top of the page.

Imp has been assigned to cover the Open Leagues. I have not yet assigned the Invite leagues. Once a writer has been assigned, you'll know it.

same here, once I see who is in it then maybe we will sign up. Otherwise I am not sure we should. Kinda need to know what where up against and if its worth the time... may only be like 3 teams or something...

We should clarify this. The Leagues are something of a big deal. Not just invite and intermediate. Open is a season, and it's hard. There are always several dozen teams. Don't wait just because you want to see who else is in it. You'll miss the deadline. Sign up, play, and don't worry...you will get put to the test and it'll easily be worth your time.

Currently about 50 teams NA and 60 teams EU have signed up (that have full rosters that we can place), but both leagues have had well over 100 teams sign up, hopefully they get their roster full by November 6th 12:00 EST or we wont place them. Also more teams are signing up every day.

Remember minimum roster is 6!!!!! To be placed in the 4v4.

I'd recommend talking to the league admin for information regarding joining a league. As a side note, many people create temporary teams for playing leagues. You might consider creating your own temporary team to play this league.
