As this will be my last ranking until July (I'll be gone for a good part of May and June), I decided to go all out and make this a top 30 ranking. This was made possible thanks to the research efforts of Night Haunter and Zatuzi from Team Synergy. Thanks again guys!
JC's Top 30 North American TWL AA Team Report for May 2, 2005.
What a fun month. It was TWL 4v4 league playoff time and once again, Instruments of God showed why they are clearly the elite team in TWL. IoG went through the entire season without a single loss and was barely even challenged except, early on, against Reborn Soldiers on SF Oasis (a 7-5 IoG win). In the final game, Rising Storm started strong but IoG faught back and eventually won 7-3. In the Intermediate league, Quietus shook of some early season rust and finished very strong culminating with a 7-0 win over area-51 in the championship match. In the open league, Away From Keyboard completed the season with only one draw and beat Making Others Bleed in a close 7-5 match.
In the top 10, Quietus had a couple of bad losses and dropped some rungs while Red Dawn moved up with some quality play. However, IoG, cX, and rS continued to show they are a step above every other squad out there.
In the mid section, The Main Event leap frogged a few teams with their solid play while we saw a number of other teams experience bad losses. And, Operation Mayhem, with their two unexpected wins jumped into the top 20 while aZ fell down four spots to 21.
The last group was the hardest to rank because of the lack of direct competition and quality matches. However, we see some old faces who are working their way up again and some newer squads trying to show how good they really are.

Ranking Methodology ^top
These rankings are mostly based upon matches against other top teams from April 5 to May 1, 2005. Most important is quality wins against teams ranked above you (at that time) and bad losses to teams ranked below you (or unranked).
These rankings cover the 4v4 and 6v6 leagues as well as the 4v4 obj, 6v6 obj, and 6v6 CQB ladders. No other ladders are included so matches in the special forces ladders, 2v2, and others are ignored.
So, if you are not on this list and think you should be...well, all you have to do is join these ladders and leagues and beat the teams that are on the list. Until then, don't squawk to me that you should
be the list. Oh, and 1 or 2 wins is not good enough especially if you have recently lost to unranked teams.
