How Could I Become an Admin

I was just wondering how/if I could become an Admin, and what exactly are admins jobs?

Get to know the admins in charge of the game you're interested in. Let them know you want to be an admin in e-mail or irc. Stand out by being helpful, courteous and fair on the forums, in irc and in game. If there's an opening, I'm sure they will consider you if you stand out like this.

Admin's jobs vary. The most basic description would be to make sure more matches are played -by facilitating good, clean game play through careful planning, spreading the word about your league/ladder throughout the community, routine league/ladder management, resolving disputes, combating cheating, and maintaining a positive atmosphere on the forums here for teams to discuss issues of competition.
Are we allowed to become admins even if we are in a Unit, Squad, or Clan?? Because in other games that i've played and other ladders, we were allowed to be admins as long as we didnt handle claims or problems from our own Unit, Squad, Clan. Does this apply to TWL as well, or only clanless players allowed to become a member?
We allow admins to play on teams in their own ladders/leagues, but just as you described, Siquera, if a dispute involving an admin's own team arises, another staff member must be brought in to handle it.

The people who are admins here are people who love competitive gaming. The intimate knowledge of the community members, the bugs, exploits, concerns, what is fun, what isn't in the games they manage comes from constant first-hand competitive play. An outsider could never bring that to the table.
what is TWL's IRC room#
On gamesurge we have #teamwarfare and many game specific channels such as #twl_aa, #twl_cod, etc, etc.
Ok well, i just d/l, mIRC and i have no idea how to use it, so do i just type #teamwarfare??

Sorry if i sound stupid.
nvm yall, i figured it out
lol

mes a dumbass
Everyone who's ever used mIRC had to go through that first time!
oh okay, thnx Half, and is there a place where we can get a list of the admins for a specific game?
On your menu bar above there's a section called "operations" ...from that pull down menu, select "contact us/staff" and from there, you can select the game title of your choice to display staff and their e-mails for that particular game.
Admin Tools Check List:

1. Computer - Check!
2. Internet connection - Check!
3. Picture of TC for cubicle - Check!
4. Knee pads - huh?
5. Analease - wha?
