Back to Medal of Honor: Breakthrough

Stepping Down

Many of you know that over the last couple of months I have been preoccupied with my Father's illness. If you were not aware, he has been diagnosed with a form of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. In several instances, I have had to drop everything and travel across country to handle situations or offer assistance for my Mother.

Because family responsibilities must take priority, last week I submitted my resignation to Spaz as an active admin for TWL. It is a difficult decision, because I have enjoyed the time I have spent playing with and getting to know everyone here. We waited to make a public statement until we were sure that Breakthrough was running smoothly and we had replacements ready to take over my duties.

Spaz has been generous enough to offer me a position that will relieve me of daily responsibilities, yet stay affiliated with TWL and all of you. I wont be online every day but hopefully, I will still be able to contribute.

In the mean time, Troll will be taking my place as Lead Admin for SH/BT. He's a good guy with more experience than I ever had, so I know the ladders are in good hands. I hope you will give him the support I have enjoyed as Ladder and Lead Admin.

Best,

Kearns
I for one fully understand the position you are in. Like you once told me, it'd be silly to put gaming priorities over family concerns.
The time and effort that you have put in here has had a significant and positive effect on our gaming community. You were always availible, always able to listen, and you always had a solution.
I enjoyed working on that project with you as well. Seldom have I seen an admin so open to new and unorthodox ideas. I think we both agreed that sometimes you have to look at ideas in a new way. It was refreshing.
Good luck with your family, I sincerely hope that things go as well as they possibly can. And don't worry about us, we'll still be here.
Take care Kearns.

Indeed man, wish you nothing but the best. We only get one shot at life, and one chance to make things right. Put your prioritys out in front, and the rest to follow suit.
