Russian rifle

With the new TWL mod it appears the russian rifle has reverted to its spearhead counterpart of only including 1 nade and no smoke. Guess the russians couldn't afford more on the russian front . I did like that it was switched for BT to 4 nades and 2 smoke but its not a big deal.

Also, there may be a conflict between MAM and the new mod with the dmprecache.scr as MAM uses its own as well. So I had to make a public play version by removing the global folder inside the pk3. And renaming it to TWL mod Public. But in matches we will use the one on this site, since MAM isn't running during matches.

I do like the smgs and weapons in general except for the missing nades for the poor russians .

It's basically (for standard) all the spearhead settings ported over to BT.

The global part comes from Code Security but I wouldn't have any problem releasing the weapon mod only. So here it is: (NOT FOR MATCH PLAY!)

One of the reason I liked the mosin nagent is that it had no smoke nade and I didn't have to take the time to drop it.

I'm with Hobbes on the smoke nades but if the Carcano gets 4 nades then the Nagant should get 4 too. Seems only fair.

Serious though we care When we made the mod, the general consensus of the community meeting was standard is a format of no mods. The M1 Garand and Lee-Enfield are still viable choices if you like being nade happy.

If were playing BT then it needs to be left at that.I understand the smg thing but don't take nades away when they are stock they come in handy when defusing mines people this should be put up to a vote not something that's decided in mIrc, some people don't troll there.

it was announced as a time for the BT community to meet at once and discuss in realtime (i.e. mIRC) this was not a discussion that happened with some people who just happened to be in the channel chatting it up and talked about this. it was "voted" on at that meeting, as a general concensus of everyone there. hell, i even streaked across it... though, since i'm not going to play BT, i didn't feel i should be saying anything about it. but i'm keeping my options open, i might jump onto another clan just for fun sometimes.


also, about the MAM/CS issue and dmprecache, i run MAM on my server, and i also keep CS on my server. with the naming convention of MAM and CS (i think that's why) the MAM dmprecache is loaded. CS does not show the map restart and other yellow text on the side with MAM running on the server. seeing as how the only difference from this one pk3 and before, is that the realism now changes the game's realism values, not standard values (so it doesn't affect MAM) and CS being thrown in there with it means that the only difference would be the name. the one MAM file, named "zzzzzzz_MoH_AdminMod.pk3" is loaded last, but the other MAM pk3s, named "User-MAM..." would be loaded before the "User-twl..." if the dmprecache is in the zzzz mam file, then everything is honkey dorey, if it's in the other, i suggest tossing a single "z" in front of the other MAM pk3s.

Please pardon Mention. He was rather tired and pissed off last night. Four of us {UNO} guys were having a good time in a particular BT server...you know kickin' some butt.
After about 1/2 hour, one by one, a server side program would move us to spec, force screen shots of our path, and then demand that they be emailed to the host clan. Shortly afterward we were kicked....in such a manner that BT crashed. Some of us are STILL having problems getting BT to load properly.
Mention might not have been totally lucid when he wrote that, he was quite pissed off & was having technical difficulties.
Please note that I am not flaming anyone, I am merely clearing up what Mention was trying to get across.

I can tell everyone right now that OCG is proactive when it comes to cheating.Everyone that knows us knows it. We also have great server setups and due to that our server is full 24/7. As for the SS's? We take them from time to time of everyone, including our own players.

And Mention, you guys have a server, if you dont like having rules to abide by, then please play on your own server. Do not come in our house and expect to rule the roost. But then again, I believe every team with a server shares that philosophy. Kudos to Wrecks for trying to police his players. But you guys forgot to say that Mention after getting screenshotted that told OCG admin that the only way we would get them is if we gave him fellatio. That got him banned. Ive got the ss of the conversation if this proceeds further.

And Death, its best to tend to your own business. Dont go poking your nose in situations you cant control. If you want to play on our server, then by all means come on in. The IP is 69.56.142.222. We do run a strict server but we are fair and just. Ask DR. Ask any of the big dogs that play MoH.
