Breakthrough Town Meeting?

We all know that for various reasons, our Breakthrough ladders still have some issues to be resolved before they are really ready to go.

I have always been a strong believer in getting the community involved in the decision making processes, and the start of the ladders is the perfect time for the community to make its biggest impact on how the ladders will be run. If you notice, a lot of my posts lately have asked for your opinions on various issues.

SO.....

I am wondering if the Breakthrough community would be interested in joining in a "Town Meeting" with me and the other BT admins to discuss the ladders and get some of the final kinks worked out.

Some of the things that we need to discuss are:
1. runspeed/dm_speedmult
2. mines on SP and AA maps
3. map lists
4. rules and gameplay issues
5. potential anti-cheat measures
6. realism mods
7. TOW settings (Ardennes and Berlin)

The way imagine it, We will set up a BT IRC channel, I will moderate the meeting, and during the question/answer period, you will direct questions via private message to a designated admin, who, when one question has been thoroughly discussed, will bring up the next topic.

Please let me know if this sounds like a good idea to you guys. If it does, we will most certainly do it.
