Word to the wise:

If you do not like something going on in Halo, do not come into IRC and curse at the admins. We do not appreciate the swearing. I do not tolerate it at all.

There are many ways to go about bringing your voice to be heard. Admins do listen. If you bring your point in a civil manner you can get an admin response or a resolution. If you come in cursing and name calling all you will wind up doing is getting yourself banned from channel and also suspended from play depending on the severity.

We don't get paid to do this. Please show a little respect. It's not that much to ask.

Team Conduct

Cursing in match and comms is becoming a problem. We have had more than our share of emails and IRC complaints.

Need I remind everyone that cursing at your opponents in matches and comms will result in the player being suspended and can/will cost your team that map. Matches are considered from the first moment an opponent enters your server to play a match till the last player leaves. There is no situation drastic enough that requires cursing or racist comments.

Match reschedules: need to be agreed upon by both teams. No team can dictate the terms. If an admin posts in comms with a time limit you have to work to get the match played. If one team is refusing to cooperate with the reschedule that team will be the one forfeiting.

All match communications need to be handled through match comms. If you go to the teams web pages and start posting match info there we can not help you. We will not enforce any agreements not made in match comms. We will not and can not enforce anything said on team's private forums. If they wanna be an asshat and bend things to their story they pretty much can there.

Once agreements are made in comms they are binding and will be enforced by admins. Once made the only way to unmake it is another agreement.

Lastly, admins look at each and every dispute/situation according to what is going on. There are certain situations like the cursing that will not be tolerated no matter what the situation. There are other incidents that will be looked at and considered less severe.

Problem teams will be dealt with. TWL is not about having teams run rampant doing as they please. Every ruling is not a biased one. Every player needs to account for their own actions. We have rules and guidelines. There is also common sense and good sportsmanship.

Addition:
It seems some teams need a reminder to this!!!

You can not just post in comms "No I don't think so we will play at my time and date". If both teams DO NOT AGREE IN MATCH COMMS to a different schedule then you need to show up at the default times or forfeit.

Most teams do not have a problem with this. Most teams have been sportsman. Remember BOTH teams must agree for it to change not the demands of one rude team.
