New to the Halo scene

Can anyone explain in great detail what is the difference of Halo and HaloCE ??? Diff gametypes or something? or is CE just an update ?

So if anyone can help that'd be great!

CE is a verion released by gearbox unsupported by Microsoft that contains updates to the netcode, as well as to vehicals, weapons, and indicators. It also allows (via the HEK kit) the creation of new maps by individual users [CE stands for Custom Edition]. They are 2 seperate stand alone games (one does not replace the other) requiring seperate servers and seperate installs. You do however have to have to own Halo PC to run CE (you need the CD key). which is better......Regular or CE? and i'm guessing TWL requires CE?

CE does not allow for spectate mode as far as i kno. twl requires CE, but it depends on who u ask which is better. some say da netcode is better in CE, and custom made stuff is good. others think da flag icon, removal of ghosts' stun effect, etc is bad. personally, i like PC better. my biggest grip is dat da ping affects ur aiming too much, even on da same server, makin da pistol useless at times when ur ping fluxes.

i go with pc any day. Gearbox scruded up the pistol. thats so gay.

I also agree PC plays better for me and sad that I have lost some very skilled players who refuse to play CE.

My pistol is way off and have not found the lead to stay the same from server to server.

My future in on CE remains uncertin at this time.

Once Pro CTF is over I might retire to PC and beat up on noobs for fun.

Only time will tell.

I'm waiting for this next patch. If it doesn't fix things, I dunno if you'll see EX on the CTF ladder much longer. It stinks there are no good halo pc ladders anymore. Halo CE should have been made a separate ladder IMO, it's a diff game than halo pc.
