*** WHY WAS I KICKED / SUSPENDED? ***

Thanks to our wonderful development staff, you are now unable to join a CoD competition without a guid entered.

Due to this wonderful addition to site code, we are once again kicking players off rosters who STILL have yet to enter their guids.

If you wonder why you were kicked, speak with your founder, rejoin your team/competion and enter your guid.

If you are a founder without, you have been/will be suspended so your teams does not lose your ladder placement. Once you've entered your guid, email a link to your player profile and a request to be unsuspended to tekmunki@teamwarfare.com

League players email wyldchild@teamwarfare.com

This was necessary to enforce our guid system and insure all teams no longer have to hassle with wondering who their playing or disputing for no guids.

(Sorry, I ruined your no reply thread.)

Since there are 10 stickies allready can u please make a sticky letting everyone know how to get their GUID if it is going to be mandatory.

I am old and allmost blind and I dont see any easily available info. If your going to suspend or kick for no GUID at least make it so noone has an excuse "I didnt know how"

a thread stating "THIS IS HOW TO GET YOUR GUID, POST IT OR BE SUSPENDED" would be better IMO. Or just add info here, then delte my post, thanx

ps. someone point me to the info im looking for.

To get your GUID number just join a PunkBuster enabled server. Pulls down your console, and type /pb_myguid

Copy down the last 8 digits and enter them on your profile.

A thread was stickied for quite sometime, as well as a sitewide news post and an email to all founders/captains went out... we're well past that point now; we have established code in now where you must have a guid in before joining a team.

So how does this work for LAN Centers? We have members on our team that play from my LAN Center. Wyldechild even called my LAN Center and registered us but our members were still kicked. So does registering a LAN Center actually do anything or is there something I have missed in the process?

Im not entirely sure what a LAN center would have to do with this post. Im assuming you feel this is an IP issue which it is not. PB GUID's are based on the games unique CD Key. As long as everyone has different CD Keys, then you can play on the same connection, as my 2 brothers and i do.

Yes there is something missed, you should have been notified to enter "adminhaslancenterguid###" (with ### being a random number you pick/make up)

We are still looking for an end all solution using our current system but what Tekmunki has posted will work for the time being.
