scoreboard being wrong???

Ok we are in a match the scrore board says 89-88. So we drop back defend. No one drops or anything.

But the other team comes back says they won because the scoreboard is wrong?

what is this, how does this happen? we are checkign see if they are right about it

The winner is the first to win 2 maps. Each map is scored separately. The map winner will be determined by totaling each player's score from the scoreboard at the end of the map to compensate for the innacurate teamscore totaling by the game. In the event of a random disconnection, if there is a concern that the team totalled score is too innacurate to determine a winner, demos must be reviewed to determine the map winner.

I have read the rule I just don't get it. Why can't they fix the scoreboard? How are we suppose to play close matches if we don't know the true score?

Was said a long time ago that PAM was going to address the issue but I haven't heard anything about it lately. Wish it could be fixed though as it is probably the second biggest issues with TDM.

we had same problem other night ... The makers of CoD never made the scoring to show TK's and once people relized this they started to TK because a players health was low and he would of died anyhow so might as well kill him yourself also weapon changes...Some clans even just sprayed and didnt actually aim because if you kill your own guy no harm no foul. So What TWL did is simply state you need to total each players and that will give you the actual real score. Now some teams dont know this because they either dont understand or never read the rules. The other day I played a clan and the score actually showed to be 79-72 HOWEVER they tked each other roughly 15 times to our 1 or 2 and when it was all said in done we won. I actually like it because of the fact that some clans took advantage of the scoring bug

The game subtracts self-kills and team-kills from your personal score but does NOT update the teamscore. Its definately a problem with TDM and we acommodate the best we can. PAM TDM will still fix this, but I would suggest another round of posting on IW official forums again. They haven't fixed this in two patches now.

Thanks for the info guys. The way I read that rule originlly was if something happened such as a player dropping the scoreboard might mess up and at that point it needed to go to the demos. So now we need to use our screenshots at the end of each map to get the actual scores.

The scoreboard being wrong really screws up playing with a strategy in a close map. Becaue you don't know who is winning.

hmmm...makes me wonder about our 1 loss now if we should have won that match. Oh well to late to dispute that.

Your fault for falling back when the lead is so small...
Secondly your wondering about your one loss is to no avail... after reviewing the ss's and demo's just to make sure... you still lost. It was a great match though... ahh my lucky nade killing all 6 of you guys... heh guess you shouldn't all have hidden in the same room... oh well. Hopefully pam comes out soon and fixes this... even better hopefully the dev's will fix it within the game itself.
