It pretty much makes no sense NOT to go with the new patch. If you don't, you're pretty much delaying the inevitable as the next patch, which will include PB, is going to have all the same changes...maybe with a few tweaks.
Its always our policy to evaluate patches before officially endorsing them to play. Sometimes devs miss things that may end up being major bugs. Barring we don't find any we will probably move forward with it.
I figured as much, and that's a good policy to have. Major bugs CAN kill a patch, so I can't fault you for looking at that.
What i am saying, however, is that any game that has a patch come out with this many changes ALWAYS has a huge group of people screaming and kicking about wanting their old stuff back. IW obviously thought that bunny hopping and sniper usage was a problem, so they 'fixed' it how they wanted to. They may un-nerf some stuff a little, but by and large, bunny hopping is gone, as is jumping around a corner, zooming and sniping somebody. New versions are NOT going to reimplement these features. So it seems a bit silly to me to keep playing under an old patch just because people don't like the current round of fixes.
