Playing on Custom Maps

I 'm just curious.

1. How many forgot that one idea that's been bounced around was adding Custom Maps?

2. How many people didn't realize that DC-Central had set up forums to allow the discussion of a number of them?

3. How many don't really care what maps we play?


The reason I'm asking is that I've been seeing a slowing of comments to Keepers threads about Possible Maps... and I've seen no activity in the DC-Central Forums. There are about 10 maps to look at there and only a couple of posts from clans on TWL.


Are you guys just confortable playing the default maps and don't care to see any added? just curious.

Ah, didn't know there was a DC-Central thread...I'll take a look right now. I'd love to see some custom maps added to the rotation. I'll work harder at doing my part to evaluate them and add my 2 cents here in the forums. Thanks Guderian for bringing this up.

We'd add em to our server but I and the other admins/captains dont run it, it's another members Server that doesn't play DC/BF. But i have most of em in my arsenal of maps and play every now and again when time permits.

Although I'm not as enthusiastic about it as some... I wouldn't mind having some new maps added to the rotation...

but....

1) Most of the custom maps suck, IMO it's not worth shifting through all the shitty ones just to find one **decent** one, that is KINDA ok.

2) Mappers rarely constantly update their maps with current versions and balance releases.

.... It's just a hassle, and as of right now, it's just no worth it IMO

need more infantry maps imo
