well one thing is for sure.. Choad uses the nade launcher

Well "CHOAD" you keep running around firing your nade launcher and thinking your king. Fact is I can cycle that thing get two easy kills and go to the nearest box and get two more off them.

The only credit I will ever give anybody for using that thing is a long almost blind or leading shot.

The noob that puts it at my feet after I have pumped a clip into him can kiss my royal blue/white or black/red azzz.

And as for real life,, since when did u get picked up by a helicopter when its hovering over your head?

Or maybe we could talk about the fact that in "reality" I dont know where all my friendlies are.

Or in reality I dont use 1 rpg round to kill one guy who is standing five feet from me and live.

DC aint about reality partner, its about a mod, which was very balanced before the nade launcher.

And by the way I dish it out just fine, very fine thanks, I may crash heli's like there going out of style, but when I got my scope on you, run all you want, but Im seeing red a good amount of time.

ill admit, it is a little too easy to use. does it ruin DC? HELL NO! it takes skill to use one of those. if u really want a M203 challenge, go play America's Army. that is one hard ass M203 to fire.

It does ruin the mod.You can walk in to a small room,shoot the cheap thing,kill everybody inside and survive.Its cheap,its a nOOb weapon,for people who can't hit the broadside of a barn from the inside.And Chaod,STFU!Prophet attacked the weapon,not you.

ok it doesnt "ruin" the mod, the M203 can fire close range, inside. some do have detection on them so they dont go off close range, but that depends. is it smart to fire a 203 inside a building, NO. could you do it in real life, yes. there is nothing wrong with the M203.

Your telling me in "real" life that I should be able to launch a grenade inside a closed room with one exit and live....?

And Kraw is right I aint attacking anyone individually, I am bitching about a weapon that has tipped the balance of the mod in a bad direction. Someone tell me what skill it takes to use this weapon? Up close, let me see shoot at your feet and boom.

And I did say I would give props if somebody nailed me from more that a few meters away.
The nade launcher I would think in real life is meant to clear buildings, machine gun nests, any kind of hard point type defense, not TAKE OUT ONE GUY.

never said youd live. just said it wouldnt be good. yes you probably would blow u and the other guy up. the point of the M203 attachment isn't for closed ranged combat. its used for long range vehicle/large number of people in a group. its exactly what it sounds like, a "grenade launcher", if it were meant for close quarters combat, theyd just throw a frag. try aiming this thing anywhere from 100-300yds and hit your target, that takes skill. that is what the gun is made for. if u dont like it, just use the M16A2 that the damn things attached to and dont mess with the 203.

I think somebody (choad) Is starving for attention right now by trying to irritate a large amount of people. As for the "ignorance" comment, I think you yourself are being ignorant to the fact that this weapon has an overall "negative" effect on the mod. Does it ruin it? no. I do think it should be implemented that no matter what, even on a FF Off server it should kill teammates. (I.e, napalm coming out in EOD 20%). This would make things a lot easier.

Hell, if you really want it "easy" dont play any FPS games at all! and no, i do not share your opinion that the 'nade launcher has a negative effect on the DC mod. i welcome the addition. and not becuz i use it (which i rarely do), not when ive got RPG, Hvy Assualt, Support, and Spec Ops, which can deal out considerable damage in much broader group of scenarios. like i said before, if you think you can dominate the DC mod with a 2 shot 'nade launcher... go ahead and prove it. i will be there to stop you (along with everyone else).

I think what he was saying is... if they balanced it out.. it would make it more... well balanced... the ease of use comes from USING the weapon.. doesn't take much skill to drop a M203 shell in a room full of peeps.. and not get killed yourself.. thats really the noob side isn't it.. thus the reason for FF being turned on in CLAN MATCHES.. because we are by far.. a higher skilled set of players... to leave it the way it is..without improvement...would be the ignorant choice..

Game was fine without nade launcher. Tell me how good your reflexes are, cuz when Im anywheres near one of those nade launchers, I cant run fast enough. And dont babble on about avoiding them, cuz if your taking flags, or need some health, or need some ammo then you are gonna fall victim to the nade launcher.

Is it fair that I smoke 3 guys with my ak or m16 then dumbass with nade launcher pops out from behind whatever two feet away from me and boom away we go to spawn.

Sorry you cant convince me that this weapon is good for the balance of DC.

Choad, you are acting as immature, if not, worse, than anybody else on this topic. Prophet only wanted to offer his opinion on the effectiveness of the nade launcher. Why flame a person for his opinion? That's what opinions are, tpyically not fact, but a view a person expresses.

Your probably right, its just pretty frustrating taking a flag or almost having it and some guy mows you down with something that takes no skill close/medium range.

CHOAD's style, please, his style is to run the same smack out there, focusing especially on the crying, gay, faggot, pussy adjectives. Least if your gonna run it out there, do something that is something I and the rest of us havent heard a thousand times.

Secondly, u wouldnt be complaining about it unless ur getting killed by it alot. There are many ways to counter-act an m203. Learn some of them. Plz dont come into a public forum and cry about being killed by noobs cuz they can use the weapon better than u can. DC is not a game for crying, so if ur gonna act like that, dont even bother playin. Go play a lil rollercoaster tycoon or sumthin like dat.

The grenade launchers went through no testing whatsoever, the devs just stuck them in at the last minute. Obviously they learned their lesson that not letting testers play with the final build is a big mistake. So now it's my job as a tester to make sure stuff like the nade launcher doesn't completely dominate an aspect of the game. The n00b cannon will be reworked somehow, there are many ways to nerf it...and nerf it we will.

REPLACE IT,,,

think claymore
think landmine
or give this class one repair pack, lets play more, spawn less?

BTW Im not trashing the modders, they went from .35 to .38 thanks to DICE moving from 1.3 to 1.4 pretty quickly and the game rocks, except for said weapon mentioned in said thread and said thread's title. woot...!
