Well since TWL isnt doing it anymore

please excuse the advertisement, but http://www.worldogl.com and http://www.provinggrounds.com are doing pretty well and if we can supplement them with clans from this ladder then we can get a pretty decent sized competition going.

Legende: you shoulda gave us more forwarning, and maybe if you tried adding citadel on the map list more matches woulda been played. It's a shame cuz i liked TWL's system more then the other ladders. Whereas the maps are picked randomly etc.

I agree with fetus we needed more warning and maybe us clan leaders could have helped you guys out and brought some new teams to TWL if we would have known you was bout to take down ladders ......

And i also would like to have got a screenie of the ladder b4 it was down for clan history =(
is it possable to access it anymore so we could get them?!?

Just checked. The ladders are there but all teams were removed when the ladders were locked down and removed from circulation.

Both myself and Leg played and still play UT2k3.

The comment about needing help. Didn't the OVERLY dead ladders maybe 1 or 2 challenges a week by the same 2 or 4 teams give enough of a hint. And the disappearance of teams weekly. By admins forcefully removing them, for failure to meet ladder requirements roster wise, and also for plain being dead.

And yes we did ask for help there are 6 posts I can count on this board that had requests for ideas and anything else. Out of 6, two were replied to if I remember correctly. The two that were, were for citadel being added. It was noted to put a vote up for Citadel along with a few other maps I had looked into.

After exhausting the media pole still no new teams for this game, and still next to zero activity on all the ladders save the Duel ladder and the fact that if we cleaned out all the dead teams on BR and CTF they would of been down to 4 or 5 teams tops. This is when I put my recommendation down to close Team Deathmatch and leave Duel open. The CTF and BR ladders where a joint discussion between myself and Leg and decided that would be the best @ that point.

My actual hope. Is after this Bonus pack is released more servers and more clans will return to UT2k3 or more clans pop up. And the issue of CTF and BR be revisited and hopefully the ladders reopened. (Cause I hate closing ladders.)

Nothing much more to say on ICEstar comments! I asked several times to come and meet me, helping us making this ladder to your taste!

SexPistol did it and I took note on all of what he asked..

here's what I remember on what we talked about
- TTM
- CItadel issue
- Adrenaline On or Off
- couple more that I don't remember

I stayed awake until 2AM talking to him and all, he's the only one that took the time talking to me and helping me out. It was still too late but his demands on 1v1 ladder are being checked and soon we will open these discusions...

I also did warn you guys about the ladders dying and all. I did post alot of times on many forums, visited many teams on IRC that I could find and asked help to the community. I even tried to make a league.. No one replied interest so I just thought... ok people are just tired of UT2K3, no big deal.

I hope you guys understand the situation. Opening the ladder required 20 teams with at least 10 full rosters... It did open in that condition but after 1 month, we were under the requirements already.

well i think twl needs to get all its crap back together and back on this damn ladder.Atleast let the freakin people who want to compete in ut2k3 here on twl in TDM,CTF,IG CTF etc...play.Whocares if it is four of five teams on a list.

Attention to tribes 2 ladders..TWL needs to DITCH some of those...most are low in numbers also..example BASE ladder..go ahead..drop it guys..7 man base is better now than 12 man..and it used to be the other way around..past few weeks i been checking into the base 12 man ladder and it still shows 18-19 teams...so TWL ..ummm any toughts of tearing that one out?
Might as well take out the ut2k3 ladder of 1vs1 also...there is kinda alot of people on it but alot dont challenge.

those tribes ladders might be considered for removal if there was very little posting in the forums, but their forums see lots of action. the ut2003 forums are enough to show lack of interest. i play tribes 2 renegades and we consistently have 12-13 teams on the ladder. doesnt sound like much, but the competition is fierce, and people are ALWAYS posting. i think forums represent interest in the game really, and it's obvious how much of a lack of interest there is here. i loved the first UT, but it's apparent how unpopular 2003 is thus far.

well tell guys, why did I had to forfeit at least 3 match a week ?
